Twilight Pro Unlock for Android
Great app: a real eye saver. One thing I have noticed is that since I updated to Android 8, pull-down menus are no longer filtered. A shame, but unavoidable, it seems.
I use this app every night & I really like it. My one issue is the dimmer setting to make my screen darker (while also being darker orange) doesn't get dark enough and I have to use a separate dimming app to achieve my desired results. I like my screen dark and barely emitting light at the wee hours in the morning I'm going to bed- like I was reading by a candle that was burning out- or how the sunset turns into the pitch black darkness of night (or close to that). So if you add a darker setting with the amber color that is almost pitch black/orange, I'll give you the fifth star! But still, I love the app, and I wouldn't be able to sleep well without it =^)
Love it so much! Glad I got the pro version. Got a small issue with it not filtering the top bar (yknow notifications etc) since the android oreo upgrade but I'm pretty sure it's being worked on! (Will give 5* then)
This is a great app. It simply does what it says without requiring extra permissions, ads, or other junk. I suggest buying Pro just to support a good developer, even if you don't use the Pro features. There are so many bad apps out there, it's refreshing to find a competent and professional one like Twilight!
Well, I liked the app thats why I bought it. I want to report an issue that in my redmi 4A phone, the app doesnt respond via the notification panel but I have to open the app and pause and play it manually. Help.
It puts a red screen over everything, so even things that should be black become red-tinted. This is annoying for me. I want the black stuff to remain black.
Pretty good but how do I make it so it doesn't fade in. I just want it to suddenly turn on at 10 not fade in. Please let us make the fade 0 minutes instead of 10
If you have eyes sensitive to light this works like a charm. Being able to make multiple profile settings for different times of the day is wonderful and easy. Lots of shortcuts to keep it easy access. Thank you for helping to protect my eyes and sleep better ♥
Its awesome app but several times it closes and the normal screen appear for sometimes and again the app sarts automatically! Its weird
There is an issue while downloading. Sometimes it shows that i haven't even bought the app even if i bought it
I had made the payment twice. Please do refund the payment deducted earlier
I tried it for a while and I can say that it is the best App!! and if the price is worth the money, thank you for the development!!.
Amazing, just one request add stop button in notification toggle bar.
Had it for a while now.. And I still love this app
I watch YouTube before I go to bed but I have to turn the brightness down but with this I do not have to do anything
Great app. Does what its suppose to. Wish I could get a lil tutorial.
Great for reducing eye strain at night
It isn't working in my Meizu m2 note, anymore!
I've fallen in love
Works great!
Great app! Really worth it. Custom schedule is great and transition is great too.
Perfect For Eyes
battery draining faster....
So worth it
Worst app
Bugs
Worth Buying...
Good
Weird that it doesn't work with the stock Android alarm clock. It also seems to make values more red rather than less blue. For example, it makes true blacks redder. Maybe this makes sense for LCD where you're filtering out white light but on LEDs it just means there's more light than there otherwise would have been, thus increasing overall screen brightness and battery consumption.
Amazing app and great value at $0.20! Make sure to just stop when an app gives the overlay error and then restart. This is definitely worth it if you find that you use your phone in bed before you go to sleep. Recommend automatically setting a filter for like 9 or 10pm until 7am to get maximum benefit of this useful app!
Got the free version (donationware if you feel like it) and loved it so much I donated the suggested $2.99 and it upgraded me to the Pro version. This is a great app and I recommend it highly. For one reason or another I tried different blue screen apps and uninstall them but this one did the job greatly. I am very happy with it and I'm sure you will be too.
It's easy to use and saves my eyes at night. My one gripe with it is that the filter doesn't cover the home buttons when Google Now Launcher is in landscape mode. I'm rating 5 stars to say thanks for a good app, but I would really like a fix for this.
I love this app. I downloaded the free version quite a while ago, tried out many other screen dimmer/blue filter apps, and came back to this one for the paid version. I only have a couple of wishes for improvement. •Even with the screen as dim as the settings will allow, I occasionally have to use a secondary app to dim the screen even more. •In the quick settings dialog, I'd much rather have the "1 minute pause" instead of the "auto/always" toggle. •I wish the navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen could be filtered too (but I know that's not a possibility). Thank you!
Works but manually. Schedule don't work. Even after changing the settings (protected apps & dropzon in my huawei). Still i feel that it helps resting my eyes when i use it by night so I continue using it. I got use to switch it on/off everyday... would have given 5 stars otherwise.
I adore this app but there are some new issues, it keeps auto turning on when I swipe down the nav bar on my phone. Everything is red, so I hit pause but then it goes a different shade of red, his pause again and finally it turns off. An old thing that bothers me, when I turn it off it resets the dimness to low and also on the "auto" feature. I never use it, I just want it to go back to what I had before I turned it on. For instance full brightness and not auto.
For 'screen overlay issue', just pause the app when you give permission to any app requesting new permission. Think how Android should do with security request changes when it detected the screen is running Twilight, is Twilight hacking and granting access to another app or is it you granting the access? Android won't know and hence it will deny any permission change when there is any app (not just Twilight) running and overlaying on the screen. Pause and Grant permission, it's easy.
Every since I upgraded to galaxy s7 I get a message can't appear over apps and I have to go into settings and remove. This makes reading at night before bed impose. I wish I could could get my money back for an app in can't use. If they fixed this is die I would rate it a 5 but until then it gets a 1 for user ability.

It has really helped me quite a bit with my insomnia. I can't believe I never thought about how much playing with my phone at night could be messing with me. Maybe doesn't work for everyone but definitely did for me! I bought the pro version simply to give back, I thought I was clicking the donate button... Thanks to the developers on this one!

The app no longer functions in many menu settings on Oreo 8 which now is glaring white due to the upgrade. An update needs to come out for the app as it renders the app useless when you even swipe down from the notification bar or go to unlock your phone.
