Upwork is a great site and has a great official app but unfortunately has no way to notify us freelancers when new jobs are available in a category of interest to us.
Enter 'Notifications For Upwork', a simple app that does just what it says it does.
It's easy:
1 - Download the app
2 - Choose which categories you are interested in
3 - Set how often you want the app to check and get notified when new jobs are available
Features include:
- Easily enable or disable categories to get a selection that is right for you

- Star the jobs that you're interested in

I gave this app about a month of use. | In the month that I have been using this app, I have been unable to log out of my main UpWork application. In addition, I have not been able to access any of my UpWork data through the app. (Connecting... Error connecting. Retrying in 3...) This is resolved by logging out and back in. | The app has a few notable features -- the vast number of preset job categories, push notifications, etc. You have no way to organize which jobs you are notified about (~1-3k/day).

I don't see any use of this app . Its not allowing us to directly place a bid for any project. I have to go to the main app again. Its good if this notification thing is incorporated in to the main upwork app from where we can submit the proposals

Syncs nothing. How can you sync my preferred jobs without asking my credentials. Do you think people are fool here?
