Upwork: Easily connect on the go

It's an okay app. It's nice to look for jobs and check what needs to be done (see the attached document) or chat with employers (just texting) when on the go (that's pretty much it). The only drawback (or drawbacks) is that the app has only a few options in comparison to the desktop site. If I want to: check my working hours, see my earnings and/or talk with the employer on an online live call/video etc, I have to use upwork on a browser (requesting the desktop site) for it. Kinda awkward right? I hope there's some improvements in the future for this app.

Its a junk. Waste of time. Better put ur requirements upfront what type of people u r looking for instead of we wasting our time in giving details then finally we cannot approve. Now not sure my data is secure or not also.

Very bad freelancing site They asked me to earn money within 30 day or they will suspend my account so I had to do a work for just 5$ to keep it and after that they suspended it too!

This app sucks. I keep getting a 404 error after installing it a few times. Don't waste your time too.

After last update massage option cannot be opened. Plz make sure it solved. We have to face a lot trouble without this app. Love a lot

I'm not getting invitation/jobs notifications in this update missed few chance for this error. But msg and other things working properly

Keeping conversations within app is cumbersome. I prefer more advanced communications tools, but this isn a great marketplace

I created an account & it got suspended from submitting several proposals. According to the message I received, they believe I do not have the required skillset for those jobs. I haven't even had a chance for proposal to be accepted yet and you already suspend my account. Isn't there already a limit for the amount of proposals? Simply terrible, how can you judge a person's skillset like that?

When I recently submitted a job application with an additional question, it had me reply to the question but there wasn't a way to submit the cover letter as well.

I'm a freelancer on upwork. Installed this app and I'm really frustrated. Why I'm receiving notifications after several weeks?

I was expecting a bit more from this app. Sure, you can use it to message your clients, but sometimes it's buggy (I'm constantly getting a notification about a message I've received months ago). Also, you can't review your current jobs nor your timelogs.

After started using it Just Loved it! Superb and Number 1 app for freelance jobs and work

you can't even edit your profile like where's the edit button/icon and there's no button for customer service

I have an open job but the app doesn't show it on my android, it only shows messages.

I cant Sign up. Please fix and up your website. Thanks.

Been using this over a month and love it! Has definitely increased my awareness on what jobs may be available that I am a candidate for. I use this app mainly as a supplement to the desktop site, and it does most of what I want. Only suggestion is I wish I could check earnings, and submit job approvals for payment. Many times I have to wait until I get back home before I can submit an invoice. Otherwise, great job!

First, my account got suspended. I contacted consumer support for a week now and still nothing. I tried to go on facebook and send a message, I even posted on their wall but got no reply. I then decided to just use the mobile app since I can still access my account and communicate with my client. I just got hired. I was able to recover my account for only a few hours and it got suspended again. Now I can't speak with my client, I can't propose to other jobs and I am about to lose my patience. Who am I supposed to contact to sort this out? I really need it to be fixed now.

Limited functionality. Cannot view my original proposal or even original post when someone messages me so I can know what to say to that person and thus I have to go to desktop site to check. Whenever there is a new notification, if someone writes me the preview will show "You:" instead of the other person's name. Experiencing same notification dismiss bug as other, crashes frequently on Android Oreo.

Its terrible. It won't let me sign up because it refuses to save my profile pic even though it is of me, when I put in my street address it keeps on saying I haven't even though that is one of the options, and everything under that it won't let me do and you can't work if its not ALL filled out even though you can't fill it out.

Disappointed with your policy. How come on earth you can stop user from applying for more jobs ? If he is not getting any work then he has no option but to apply for more jobs. Do you mean to say you can't handle it ?

You say that app is not intended to replace desktop site. But what if I want to use the site from mobile for urgent matter. Even if I try to access it from browser you guys keep it redirecting to mobile site which also don't have all the features. Please don't do that. Atleast let me use that desktop site as it is in mobile browser. Earlier I was able to view upwork website as it is on my mobile and now you have redirected it to mobile site which is useless.

App was bad but when you fill out the details online, they can knock back your profile if there's too many similar to you. How about saying what you want and what you don't want upfront. Pretty stupid.

It's a start Here are my problems. I cannot track my time on here. Plus, I have a Galaxy S5 but I don't receive notifications but my tablet Galaxy Tab and my email receive notifications. You still need to use the desktop version because verification is so annoying. For example, I had to sign a W2, change my address, update my photo, and get into a conference call. I am a app developer, making a new time tracker activity to the menu will solve my first problem, it will be even more helpful to have it as an android watch app too. Just with a click of a button it will track your time especially when you are doing offline work and away from your workstation.

Owner is money hungry devil 20 percent commission then 30 percent tax then on taxed amount I need to pay vat and other taxes what remains with me medical troubles and stress and I need doctors and no money for medicines. Governments are evil.

Best app for freelancers. Messaging is really great. Jobs searching works good too, but there's one thing I miss and that is the lack of filters from the web (budget, ..)

It's great now. With link referring and attachments support. Please add more messaging support like archiving and unread mark.

It's been 12 hours in I can't still get job that I want this app is a lying app It tells me that they have to review it but 12 hours has passed

The option to decline interviews is there but not working ( Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Android 4 ). Basically throws an error for having to select a reason - but there is nowhere an option I can see to select a reason.

Ability to archive messages will be a plus.

A lot of features is missing compared to Upwork on desktop furthermore I continuously receive notifications of old messages which I already opened and treated.

Chat not working. Can't access my messages on the go. Can't answer clients mesaages. Fix it!
