Uphold | The Internet of Money

I transferred BTC from Coinbase to try it out, and it showed up in Uphold as ETH with a conversion fee taken out. Then I went to transfer it out and it's not possible, as the "confirm transaction" button is greyed out no matter what you do, regardless of where your sending it. Avoid this platform at all costs.

Incredibly slow and inefficient. Customer service is non-existent. Will ask for a government ID more than once, randomly. Probably creating a database of personal information. Shady and obviously fraudulent. Can send money to app, but can't send it out of app. No reason to waste your time here.

They suspended my account and blocked access to my money. They do not reply my emails, Tweeter or Facebook messages. No customer service at all. Many many users around the world have the same issue and this people from uphold seems to be careless. I am afraid that they stole my money.

The worst service, they blocked account access, I have lost access to my money and they don't at all respond to the emails and support queries. Please don't be scammed by these guy's.

Fell into this scam don't fall into it yourself. I put in $(quantity doesn't matter), invested in Heleum, that ended up losing more than it was worth and the FEES to take your money out HEAVILY outweigh the benefit. No doubt the developer is doing well with this scam.

This app has a huge amount of potential. Hopefully everyone will give it a chance. There is so much investment opportunities from Cryptocurrency, Precious metals, and many countries currencies. It's a little slow but with support this thing could be the one stop commodity and currency exchange app. Keep up the good work Uphold!!

Its verification process is not up to the mark. most of the time it never work. I have suggested this wallet to my friends and they are unable to verify there identity since from 18 days. One more thing is that there is no XRP (Ripple) and other new popular currencies options are not available. I know they will add but till that date rate will become very higher.

I have been trying to add money via my credit union bank account using both the uphold website and the uphold app but it does not let me do it. I contacted the customer support with my bank statement before christmas 2017 and i still have not got any reply whatsoever. Very bad customer service!!!!

So, after leaving a good review I tried verifying my account and my account has for some reason been closed without my permission?! I have around £150 in there and no means of logging into my account and I'm not getting any replies to my emails, what the hell is this!!?

Cannot run on rooted devices? What a joke. My banking apps run on rooted without a problem. People who would be interested in this kind of apps, I venture to guess, are likely to also run Lineage or custom roms

Verification process is overly cumbersome. I can't transfer funds from an existing Aus bank account, or credit /debit card.

Money still hasn't been transferred to bank (But left uphold account...) for 18 days. Beyond a joke.

I registered on 23rd of Decemeber but my account was restricted/closed due to the verification process. I submitted request twice but there was no response and I registered once again with another email and used screenshots to take my photo and ID but again got restricted today. Please help!!

Don't download, you will lose access to your money when you need it most, account blocked for no reason while prices plummet !!!

It would be awesome if you could see the exchange rate as a function of time. Otherwise, great app with awesome design!!

Useless

Good app but has big drawbacks. It can be confusing when transferring cards. For example I transferred 3 ETH from Kraken to uphold but some how it was converted to BTC. The app needs a lot of refining.

Suddenly i have to login every time, before it remembered my credentials but since december 7th it keeps asking to login again and create a passcode. Please fix edit: thnx Uphold for fixing the issue! The latest update solved it! 5 stars deserved!

Going into day 8, my funds have not been deposited into my uphold wallets despite 5-7 day transfer times. Emailed support twice, no answer. My money stuck in limbo, I regret ever using this junk app.

No problems transferring funds in but couldn't get any answers as to why I couldn't transfer funds out while getting the same generic email 3 times. However, after it finally verified my account everything works smoothly. You should probably include a disclaimer informing people that during the verification prices you can transfer money in but not out.

It's a great app, my only problem is that constant need to login and set a pin every time.

Solid app, easy to use interface, on top of a trustworthy platform. The app makes buying and selling crypto easy and unlike many other competitors out there, it makes going in and out of fiat very simple, which is a huge plus. The fees might be a tad on the higher side of things but you're paying for the higher quality of the service. Keep up the good work and keep adding solid coins and features.

Good app several currencies, but a LIVE CHART is missing

I tried using your service to find out you won't convert to my native currency but to take the small amount of money i used to test this poor app i can't take off unless i have $20 or more to send, WHY? is it so you make more money on your unnecessarily high transfer fee of 1.40% of said transaction? Thanks for stealing $7 and wasting my time.
