It showed that it "detected" an update for the firmware and Android version that was already on my phone. There's a phony "Download Update" button that supposedly downloads and updates but it really does nothing but pop up an ad and then displays the message "Device Updated". Seems to be a phony app so the developer can make money with ads.

This app requires access to your pictures and probably other important files. Stay away and stay safe. Google really need to set some standard how these apps requiring access to your personal information. Huwaei is already under scrutiny for tracking huwaei smartphone users by installing bloatware to track every activity and sell users data on auction by third parties.
