올해를 돌아보면 유난히도 다사다난한 한 해가 아니었나 싶습니다.

변화에 대한 갈망은 비단 이렇듯 크고 비중있는 곳에서만 불어오는 것은 아닙니다. 어느 스포츠 스타의 거창했던 은퇴는 한 시대가 지나가고 또 다른 새로운 시대를 맞아야만 하는 변화를 의미했습니다. 소녀시대의 제시카의 탈퇴 또한 익숙한 (소녀)시대에서의 변화를 뜻합니다. 우리 자신도 두바이를 다녀 온 K처럼 무작정 높이만 올라가려 했던 그의 인생에 변곡점을 맞이할지 모릅니다. 아프고 성숙하기 위한 변화, 희망을 외치는 변화, 불안, 안타까움 그리고 걱정이 뒤섞인 변화, 인생의 방향을 리셋하는 변화까지 시간이 흐르는 한 변화는 숙명적인 것입니다. 중요한 것은 변하지 않는 것이 아니라 그 필요성을 받아들이고 어떻게 변화하냐는 것입니다. 변화를 막을 수는 없으니까요.
