Untappd - Discover Beer

Very cool app. I tried several similar apps before settling on this one. Have used it for ½ year. I like this best because: It can keep track of what I try; save my scores; shows community scores; finds most of the beer I look for; shows basic info for each; is easy to use; and it has not crashed/or lost my info. It has a bunch of other cool features and no annoying ads.

I love Untapped. I've been a user for years. Wish you could edit a business, though. My wing joint is listed as a restaurant so I don't get credit for the badge from it. No worries. I just use another entry for it in another town. Sort of inaccurate, but it's the same chain. Just someone programmed mine wrong. LOVE UNTAPPED!

GPS still used in the background. Developer must be able to reproduce as these reviews are filled with the same complaint. I'd love if this app could support a beer inventory (list with current number of each)) of my stash to update and share with friends.

I love this app; I actually just got 200 unique check in's! BUT, since downloading it on to my new Pixel 2 it keeps force closing! WHAT'S THE DEAL!? HELP

Please add QR code scan to add a friend. Search sucks. 99% of the time I'm adding a friend at a bar. If I could show a QR and scan to add a friend it would be way easier. Also where is Maple in flavor profiles?

This could be a 5* app but despite many requests you still cannot enter a location when you don't have GPS signal. Come on Untapped, not many outdoor pubs in the UK! Bristol Airport gets a bit funny if you stand on the runway trying to get a signal!

I wish there would be an offline mode, to be able save a beer quickly when in a foreign country with a poor internet connection, to upload later when connection is better.

Very cool. Being able to follow all my favourite breweries and see what the pubs have on tap before I go is very cool.

Definitely a cool way to find new beers and venues, while trying to one up your friends.

The only app an ale lover needs.

This is my favorite app ever. I love to drink lots of beer and what's better than sharing and getting badges for it? Beer scouts! ! *I'd like if the screen didn't change back and forth when adding a photo. Has caused many miss clicks.

Version 2 was well designed if a little slow. V3 is an error prone hot clunky mess with an appalling UI and less usable features. (Features may still be there just too hard to find). Roll back and try again but use end users for UAT. Seriously, do roll back!

Connect with Facebook still requires creating a separate account. So that's pointless.... App is messy and cumbersome. Finding what I want (just tracking which beers I had and my rating) is too complicated.

This app seems to keep GPS running in the background until the app is swiped out of the recent apps panel. It would be nice to see this fixed.

Used to be a 5 star app but keeps crashing in the last few months making unusable. Will change to 5 star if it's fixed

It's time to fix the UI. When adding a photo how about making camera default and having a small icon to change to gallery. Who has NFC on beer? How about making it scan barcode by default with a small icon on the scan screen to change to NFC for the 0.01% of of bars that have a NFC menu

The BIGGEST thing wrong with this app (and I've been using it for well over 6 months now) is the terribly abismal loading times whenever I get a notification it doesn't go directly to the post notification so we have to wait through a long load up and wait until it decides where to go. Very poor allocation of resources. Otherwise it's a great community but damn. Fix the speed!!!

This app used to be great. The new updated is terrible. Searching for beers (the whole point of the app) now barely works. I wish I had an extra set of hands so I could this update 4 thumbs down.

If you're a craft beer drinker and you do t have this app your missing out on an excellent way to keep track of all the different beers you drink. With beer being geographically dictated, It can be hard to remeber what you had, if you travel a lot. Easy to use and a lot of fun. And it's free!

Keeps restarting after taking photo. Its very buggy since u changed the app.

Does what it is supposed to well, but has push notification ads that seem to turn back on after updates and consumes significant battery if left running in the background.

I just installed this app and it keeps freezing up when I try to add a beer. It's really annoying. I'm forced to close the app and re-open it.

Love this app! It would be nice to be able to check in with multiple beers at once for those of us who mix 2 different beers to create our own smooth tasteful concoction.

Confusing workflow. Tries to be too much sugar in too small a bag.

I need convenient way to rate beer I just had and save my rating for future. I didn't see anything like "my beers".

Wow! Great app and super responsive developers! On most devices, in Android App Settings, you can even move this app to your SD Card if you are low on primary storage.

Wonderful app. Use it all the time to log beers and discover good ones. Almost never had an issue.

It would be nice to be able to rate beer you've had without "checking in" every time. Just add a "rate beer" option instead.

You need to add support to privately message other users.

Requires too much personal information to use.
