About Gate
Gate connects you to the people and topics that matter most.
Gates are feeds made for groups of friends, family, classes, organizations, and even places.
Anyone can create a Gate. Others can unlock the Gate by using a key you generate. Keys look like 1234-5678-9012-3456.
Examples of Gates include:
• Entrepreneurship
• Chem 228
• Family
• Football buds
• Texas A&M Alums
• Cats
• Evans Library
Whenever GPS is activated, you can visit the Around You Gate and see the latest posts around your area. If you turn GPS off, Gate will use your last known location.
Gate embraces privacy. The only way to know a Gate exists is to be in it. The only way to know someone is in a Gate is to be in it.
Gate aims to group people with common interests and to help people unlock the most valuable Gates they can.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
