Phases of the Moon Free

This used to be a great app, but then it started to require the location to be on in order to work. I will gladly enter a City and State our a Zip Code, but there is no need to force me to drain my battery and show every other app where I am. Without the ability to set my location manually, this app is pretty useless. Poor decision to require location to be on.

It does exactly what it says it will do, easily know what phase you are in and figure the next full or new moon, great maps of moons face with names/locations of Apollo landing sights. I am not an astronomer but this app is fun and easy to use, and that from an old guy who avoids face book cuz its too confusing.

Was a nice moon till all the lunar landmarks...3D .... lunar calender all vanished. Is it my Samsung galaxy 8+ . Think it's your app and I remember paying you a few 3 years ago to remove the adds.

Just wanted to leave this review on how well this app works. It's simple and easy. The ads can be removed for free, but I leave them because they are not the annoying pop up type.

Why does an app that shows the different phases of the Moon need permission to "make and manage phone calls"?!?! Seriously?!?! What exactly did I just download?

I love this app tells specifically what the moon is doing and you can move it sideways and know exactly what it's moving toward or been through. I can plan spells according to moons phase. A priceless app. Would refer , I've looked at other apps and this is by far the best

Not a useful widget at all. Basically just a big button

So disappointed they removed the live 3D simulation from the free version. Now it's just another lame moon app

This app use to be so informational. I used it daily. Now it's nothing like it use to be. I actually used it to conceive my first child.. What happened. Why did you take all the lovely info

Why does it need permission to make an receive calls? I don't think so

Since the update it has become annoying wanting access to my contacts amongst other things. Removing now. Shame.

Why can't I make the phases my screen background anymore??? Sad deal :(

I hate the update. Phases of the moon free is now just another gimmicky and annoying app I don't really need. Cluttered screen and pop ups begging for money. I can get a free calander from any number of places with the phases of the moon printed on it. Uninstalling.

This app is useless. The illumination is wrong and it shows that on two consecutive days there will be 100% illumination. How can there be 2 full moon days back to back? I had to check on Google Everytime and this app is quite inaccurate.

I love that this app has a gorgeous big moon widget you can put on your screen to always know what phase the moon is in. Perfect reminder for the full moon to put my crystals out and new moon to write my wishes for the following month. Highly recommended ????

I'm an RN and we like to know about our full moon shifts! Always loved watching the moon phases. This app is great.

It used to show the rise and set times of the moon.... now it just has an exclamation over it, even after GPS is turn on, or off .... after update it stopped working

This app is an accurate, complete and consolidated platform to gain all relevant information before planning a skywatching session, trip to the desert or any other reason. Easy to read, understand and apply. Kudos

Used to have a widget, but it's not in my widget menu. Bummer.

There are exclamation points where the rise and set times should be and no explanation of why.

I would love if this app could have a widget shortcut so that it displayed on my home page in real time. Otherwise it's great!

Don't usually spend much time on electronic devices. Prefer to be outdoors. But this application mesmerized me when I first downloaded it early in the year. Still does. Mmmmm

I've been looking at our Moon since I was a child anticipating the Apollo Moon Landing. This app is great at showing the precise changes in the Moon's appearance from night to night.

I really enjoy following the moon and its patterns and this is the best app that I have yet to find and it's pretty badass thank you to whoever made it..

This app seems to be a day behind. It told me the full moon was December 2nd when it was actually December 3rd. How can I fix this?

My moon widget is missing even if im duly updated. I need a quick look for the moon phases as it is important in my work. I hope you can fix this with the next update

Why do you need to read phone State -my contacts?

Great app and info would be 5* if the app had alarms/alerts for full moons or phase if your choice.
