Bring back black and white toolbar!!!! The grey and red is painful on the eyes. Used to rave over this app. Now frustrated over useless updates that do not improve functionality.

Great to be in sync with the universal Church!

how do I get the disappearing tool bar back?

Easy to use with choices that meet the needs of each person. Thx for creating this App.

Universalis has been a necessary app on my phone for many years. The new update is great even though the new toolbar is distractingly bright. Now I like to see the toolbar disappear when scrolling so that when necessary it may be pulled into view again.

Thanks for fixing the menu bar problem. I still like the old menu bar.

S70%

The red menu bar is a distraction for the eye, need a darker colour or double tap for full screen mode.

I have the hard copy, but this is much more handy and is helping me be more faithful to praying the Liturgy of the Hours. I love the addition of the Daily Readings as well. My one hope for improvement would be the option to have the actual hymns from the Office. Granted, I only knew a handful of them, but I don't know any of these.

S70%
by S####:

Some critism of the content. The app does provide thorough coverage of daily catholic devotion, but, and this is big for me, the translations they use of scripture is very poor and too contemporary. Much of the beauty and subtle wisdom is lost with trying to simplify language to make it "modern".

Q70%
by Q####:

It's one short of five stars. I love the layout and it is so wonderful to have the translations for NZ. But the in-page scrolling is terrible and not keeping your place on the page when you navigate away and back is frustrating. Some simple usability fixes would go a long way.

S70%
by S####:

I use this instead of the hard copy, as it gets rid of the distracting ribbons, page surfing, & endless supplements. 2 needed additions: 1) Navigate to top when changing the hour. 2) Optional Psalm prayers.

I had eprex before but there were some problems with their app. This app is working fine, for London and not only diocese. Just what I need in one click. Well done!

S70%

Love this application. A little steep in the pricing, but it I well worth it. Suggestion: A night mode will be an added bonus to the display and secondly, for the order of Mass perhaps an option to skip or jump to certain parts of the Mass would be very much useful.

Good, helpful app. Some mistakes should be corrected. For Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter seasons there should be more variety in the hymns.

Still love it, but it would be even better with the Ordinariate psalter (1928, unless I'm mistaken). Guaranteed sales and much thanks and admiration.

I like it but find translation of psalms stiff & cold.

When I was using Laudate, there is a page of written reflection which I find it useful. I rely on this to have a deeper understanding of the readings. However with this app there is nothing on reflection from the mass readings. It would be great to also have what Laudate has. I feel a little shortchanged on this. Otherwise this app is good.

Purchased it and whenever I'm travelling and my breviary is too bulky to bring along, this app is a life-saver. So far, no complaint from me yet.

Still no Psalms prayers after the Psalms and canticles. Also, a small thing I know, you should be able to select the Bible used, despite the choice of region. If the Psalms prayers are added, five stars.

I love my Divine Office along with all my Prayer books liturgy etc. But this is essential if you cannot access your books!

Thanks for keeping this translation, I prefer this one to others. Prayers after psalms are not necessary, other apps have them, keep it this simple. Please can we have the ability to copy individual verses back?

Terrific app

Wonderful app for Mass texts and breviary (Office of Readings). Very intuitive, without a need to jump around, for most uses (in the Mass, for example, it is automatically set for Eucharistic Prayer II, but a touch lets the user select one of the other Prayers. And in the breviary, a touch allows the user to select the 2- or 1-year cycle. I'd give it 5 stars if it automatically bounced back to the beginning of the next Office.

Can I have a refund? This app does not include the Psalm-prayers contained in the Liturgy of the Hours books.

It would be helpful for U.S.C.C.B. users if app were to specify category on White and Red Liturgical Days: Either Feast or Solemnity. Thnx.
