Marineland Water Care for Android
Don't understand why you don't list your bow front tanks or a better user interface, very bulky and non usable. Also adding a camera feature for the strips would go a long way, overall ver disappointed.
It's a nice complement to the testing strips, but they could really improve the app by (as some users mentioned in reviews) letting you specify and save multiple tanks with their respective different occupying fish (thereby tailoring recommendations based upon the species). It would be rad if they could have you use your phone's camera to analyze the shade of the color (helpful for colorblind individuals) and helpful for those of us like myself who have some trouble deciphering which exact shade is showing.
It does not save your tank profile. You have to enter the dimensions every single time. Am I missing something?
Good app for new Beginning
Does not accurately test water. App is the same as Tetra's, also strips sold in most stores have only 5 tests not 6 so both this app and Tetra's, are no help. You need API's, liquid master test kit for absolute accuracy.
Purchased a 38 Gallon tank today. Downloaded app and I'm ready to enjoy this Beautiful tank, with a team of Marineland Gurus to help me keep my fish and plants happy and healthy! ! So Easy

I figured I'd try marineland strips bc I had a coupon. The app is pretty neat and gives you solutions according to the results. So, great for beginners but the API system is better if you really want to care for your aquarium. So in short very easy to use, cost isn't too bad, app is helpful with solutions but very basic.
Good if you only have a single tank. Cannot add multiple tanks to the history. Secondly, why can't I take a picture of the test strip and get have it automatically determine the results?
Very easy and convenient way to keep track of my fish tank status.

The app does was it's supposed to do. However, with the stellar reputation of Marineland, one would expect a higher quality app to match that of their products. For example, the ability to "save and choose" more than one tank would be most convenient. It gets annoying having to manually enter in the dimensions of my different tanks every time I need to test. And perhaps selecting the type of fish you keep in the tank. It's feedback always tells me my pH is too "HIGH" even though keep African Cichlids.
Tetra Water Care is identical (same maker), but less glitchy! Switched to that. Love it.
First time owners here! Can use all the help we can get!! Ty
This is a good app for beginner fish tank keepers of fw fish. Just looking for a good app to track reef basics. As a reef keeper more than ten years I have bought many different marineland items /equipment. It was would be nice to have something to keep track of basic things relevant to reef... Water change Calcium alkalinity. 6n1 test strips are useless to me. (But would be useful to a novice). This app is more of an advertisement for their new test strips.
App Does not work
I think this app is perfect for any beginner or avid fish keeper. Although its catered to work with Marineland 6-1 test strips I can see this app being used by any fish keeper in general. It lets you manually input your test readings allowing you to save, share, or email your test results. This is a great way to keep track of your water parameters. Not only can you log your results but depending on the information you input the Marineland app will give you advice on how to achieve optimal water quality.

When trying to set up it didn't even recognize the dimensions of their own 10 gallon tank. Thought it was 15 gallons. Had to fudge the dimensions just to make it 10 gallons. Not updated since 2014, did they give up?
