You’ve come to the right place! Founded in 2009, the United Coalition of Reason is one of the largest nontheist groups in North America, a coordinating place for hundreds of independently run local groups, each a little different.
Each group in our “community of reason” rejects the supernatural and loves rational thought and science. We call ourselves atheist, agnostic, bright, Ethical Culture, freethought, humanist, Pastafarian, rationalist, realist, skeptic, secular, and other terms.
We are happy, positive people who would prefer to engage with religious people and find common ground, while being politely critical on a few important issues such as religious privileges in the law, and faith-based reasoning in political decision-making.
We respect your privacy! Each of our groups is a safe zone if you have not told your friends and family how you feel about religion.

Though I couldn't search for my city (Delray Beach), I was able to find events near me by searching for the nearby large city (Miami) and looking through the results. Would be nice to enter my city or zip have the app find events based on distance from me. Also would be great to set a default area so I don't have to search each time I use the app.

Doesn't let me add my city, and I don't live near any of the choices. How can it facilitate and expand our connections without the ability to add new places?

Doesn't do what you said it does. It is a calendar of events, not a connections instrument. If you want to connect people, have a way for people to connect.
