There are many security tools available out there that come with a variety of tools for helping you keep your phone safe, but usually when a phone is stolen the first thing that is done by the thief is removing your SIM card and wiping the phone. Many of the products out there will still help you track your phone if the SIM card is removed, but only Root Defense will continue to work after the phone has been wiped. Need root to use this apk properly. Root access is who/what this apk was designed for and Root/SU right granted access is what this apk requires to function in the manner in which it was built for in the 1st place. Remember ratings are just that Ones opinion on the subject. Unfortunetly ALOT of Ppl rate apks without reading and or knowing the full details on matters such as root/SU rights and custom roms, custom recovery, Nandroid backups etc. remember you are you're devices best and final security features

I would have loved to keep this. Was rough installing it at first. Had to go into apps and clean data on Home software blue button in which reset my home screen along with the program area screen. Once I finally got everything working like it "should" security kept announcing it got Super user rights from SuperSU and disabling that notification doesn't work. It kept doing this until it stopped working. Thanks anyways. I will try again some other time maybe.

This app did nothing for my phone! My galaxy s5 was stolen and the phone number changed! I thought this app would track it down and survive a factory reset!? Little did I know that all the thief had to do is disable it in security! Why did I pay the money?

Working perfectly on the Nexus 7 I only ever need the free version for my tablet anyway since I'm not calling or texting anyway. I reset my tablet and it really worked, I was still able to track it.

Took 8 mins for the Message transaction to complete. Lock does not work! Locate does not show any data. Have to turn on GPS?
