About Isotope - Periodic Table

The periodic table of chemical elements itself is a genius invention but it's appearance is seldom attractive.
Isotope allows you to explore all the elements with a high quality user interface!

By getting the premium version you get an extra theme and access to detailed information about every element.

Features:
- 118 elements
- Rich animations
- High quality images for 70% of the elements (constantly being updated)
- No ads
- Search feature
- Temperature unit chooser

Isotope works for all modern phones and tablets running Android 4.4 or higher, but for the best experience, we recommend 5.0+

Any feedback is highly appreciated!

Thanks For Developing And Educational And For Free App Very Few Developers Do That I Really Appreciate To You Guys For Developing This App Best Of Luck For Future

Z70%

Very useful.

Mass number is missing

F70%
by F####:

One of the best designed app. Should be awarded for best design implementation.

X70%
by X####:

There are some zooming/color sorting features from iOS's EleMints that I'd like to see, but this little tool is enough for a phone (it'd be lacking if put on a tablet). Only issues I have with it are the lack of a swipe up/down on an element card to view details, and the fact that searching for cesium didn't give me results for Caesium. It isn't exactly gushing over the product five star material, but it's a good thing that chemistry students would appreciate having if in a pinch.

X70%
by X####:

The app is great, some information needs updating. Some options like turning on/off what you do and don't want shown on the elements would be nice. Being able too zoom in/out more to be able to see the complete periodic table on a phone would also be nice. Good app! It just needs a bit more flexibility.

R70%

The app itself is extremely beautiful. Perfectly user friendly. However, there are some problems with the electronic configuration of many of the elements I've noticed. For example, the electronic config of zinc is written as in the app, [Ar]3d^1 04s^2. As you see, it should have been [Ar]3d^10 4s^2. The zero in ten for the 3d orbital of zinc is separated, making the config to be read as 04s1 and 3d1 which is wrong. Its just a syntax problem. Easily fixable I guess.

I really love this application that different from another application make me bore with the explanation. But some upgrade like name of group(alkali metal, alkali earth, etc) and A and B group of elements is great for studying. And try to fill some elements will variant image. Thats make the premium owner feel satisfied purchased this application. Thanks alot.

X70%
by X####:

I believe that premium owners should get more out of the periodic table, like adding the charges to each group, and adding the name of each group (alkali metals, alakaline earth's, etc), I just think that maybe making it a bit more interesting for the premium owners would really make this app the best there is. Overall I like it, 5 stars until premium gets more features

Edit: [In landscape mode], I can't press on any of the elements without the app crashing. [In portrait mode], no problems. Samsung S7 Edge. 2nd Edit: Problem appears to be fixed in latest update, though images don't show in landscape mode for some reason.

X70%

I bought this app. It feels unfinished Its called isotope but where are the isotopes. You haven't given the names of the element's different categories, i.e. noble gases would be helium, neon, argon, etc. It certainly looks good. Animations are smooth. There are a few mistakes here and there.

Just downloaded it and straight away fired it..... Felt like hell yeah... That's what I was looking for. Till date none of the table is as good as this one.... And image feature works fine too... Thanks developers

X70%
by X####:

There should be more configuration, User Accessibility should be a priority with any modern educational app. For eg - color blind friendly table theme. Four out of Five.

X70%
by X####:

Five stars with normal zoom functionality. Can see whole table in landscape mode. Need external search -- google did not accomplish this! I.e. long-press on symbol or info box brings up choice search on element. Could be useful "pro" feature.

X70%
by X####:

I'm not sure why some are whining about the premium version. It's only a buck something for crying out loud. The dev ain't asking for much. Try and make an app this slick yourself. These people need our support.

X70%
by X####:

Here's a suggestion: include the mass number in the overview of elements. I don't want to click on every single element when I want to look at it's mass. That would make this an absolute 5 star app :)

P70%
by P####:

I love the app but you need to fix the descriptions, you have groups and periods mixed up and it is a little annoying. Other than that great app

H70%
by H####:

Everything is too basic and too advanced at the same time. I would like to see applications for every relevant mineral. Add more pictures. Make it more intuitive. Make a theme for mobile that is different from tablets. Surprise me. Tell me me something that I don't know and easy to remember. This app has a lot of potential but it has a long way to go.

X70%
by X####:

Enough said at least with the basic version. Pretty poor application for periodic table

X70%
by X####:

It is beautifully designed and is very consistence with the material design of android. Totally worth to pay to support the developer. The only catch is the outdated information of new elements.

X70%
by X####:

The app messes up groups and periods. For example, Sulphur is shown as Group 2 Period 16 whereas it should be the other way round. Apart from this error, really nice app and rather well designed.

Z70%
by Z####:

Great little app. It will probably be very helpful with school and it doesn't hurt that it's beautiful. I got the premium and it's more of a donation with a few extras. By the way, if you want to get the premium, you have to go to an element and flip the card over, then scroll to the bottom and you can buy the premium.

F70%
by F####:

There's not option for the 'premium unlock'. Maybe a overlook ? But a costly one.

V70%
by V####:

It is a nice app i loved it.I have 1 suggestion, you shook add a diagram of the electronic configuration also it will help the curious high schoolers, plus I contributed to the development of this app. So I hope my contribution doesn't go vain.

I70%
by I####:

1 Problem: The App is called "Isotopes" but their are only the elements and not the Isotopes listed. Could you please fix that and also add (as a logical consequence) the proton number of each element?

X70%
by X####:

But it crashes in landscape when trying to view an element. edit: confirmed landscape crash is now fixed. gj Jack, up to five stars now.

X70%
by X####:

I like it but i would give it 5 stars if there were more images. You could always search the internet for images or atleast give the image of the atom of the element you did found any image. And give links for more information of each elements in the describetion

X70%
by X####:

It's the best app ever... But could you add electronegativity of each element.. It seems like it's the only thing missing

X70%
by X####:

Nothing major to complain about. Needs an update for the 4 newly named elements!

T70%
by T####:

The idea of the app is truly awesome but it seems that it's still in its early stages, not enough images could use more info. But still the app has great potential.

X70%
by X####:

The UI is really good. But the lack of element's category/classification is a really huge problem

X70%
by X####:

It's by far the best designed periodic table for Android but there are some errors with the electronic configuration of some elements

T70%
by T####:

Hey. It would be great if you could add legends in it to tell us why some elements are different in colour. Overall you have a satisfied downloader. :)

W70%
by W####:

There are a few mistakes for many elements. Especially for their group and period number, for Ne it shows group no is 1 and period is 15

P70%
by P####:

Good graphics and great style. Easy to read. A zoom feature would be wonderful. I'll give five stars for these additions!

X70%
by X####:

*speechless* *silent* WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

X70%
by X####:

Good app. Small mistake like the Groups and Periods being completely wrong.

X70%
by X####:

More specifically, specific heat capacity.

R70%
by R####:

Love everything about it. It ia just brilliant! You guys beat me to it.

H70%
by H####:

In the electronic configuration of elements that are from 98 to 102 the number of electrons is not in the apex, so the number of period is, for example in Z=98: [Rn]5^f1 >>07s^2 instead of [Rn]5^f10<< 7s^2
