Today Calendar Pro for Android
I love the look of the app and the minimalistic widget... however I bought the pro version and the widget on my home screen just says "loading" between each event in the agenda view. I've tried reinstalling, clearing cache on app and calendar, so far nothing has fixed it. If not for that it would be great.
Love the app, only gripe is with locations. Doesn't give me suggestions from Google Maps, and when the appointment pops up I can't get directions from there, I have to go to Google maps separately. I can do this from the appointment in Google Calendar and S Planner. If you could implement this feature that'd be great!
I actually don't use this anymore because there is now reminder function which us really important to me now. Please add a task/to do function. It would be great if Google Keep could be integrated like on Google Calendar. (Would be happy to pay a little extra for this)
I have root and custom ROM on 1 month old phone because i will not tolerate bloatware. These kind of apps are the worst, treat you like a thief with constant license checking and failing if not connected to net. I feel ripped off even though i only paid .20c(sale). I don't want duplicate icons of every app i install with unlockers.
About 50% of the time I type in a note to remind myself of something it only saves half or part of the message, thus when the alarm goes off to remind me I have no idea what I originally wrote. If you add a period into your "create an event" section, it saves everything past the period down below in a different area in much smaller type. GARBAGE. Check your software for bugs before releasing it. The very notion that I payed for something that should always remind me that does so only half the time warrants this poor review.
It doesn't appear to offer multiple notifications (1 day, 10 days, etc.). In addition, I can't get email notification working. Am I missing something? I am doing something wrong?
Have always loved this app but probably going to move on at this point. One of my favorite features (and the one I use the most) is the agenda widget, which is broken in Android 8 (the date headings now just say "loading..."). Last update for this app was 2015 so I think it's safe to say this app won't be getting any more updates. The main app still works great and I absolutely love the design, which is why I only docked 1 star... Just know if you get this that the agenda widget won't be 100%
Broken drawing in Lollipop on my G3, crashes completely in Marshmallow CM13 and Nougat LOS 14. Dev never responded to emails showing issues in screenshots. Sorry I paid for this. Paid for Event Flow. Much happier. (This review hasn't gotten a response in a YEAR. I rest my case.)
I've experienced this in the free version as well. If I edit an event on my computer using Google Calendar the edits don't appear to be synchronizig with the app right away. The refresh option doesn't help as well. Any one else experiencing lagging in synchronizig?
This is a good looking app, but I use it mostly for the widgets which are very useful. Unfortunately, recently the agenda widget seems to have developed a bug where it will continually show "loading..." on each day for which there is an event. I can't seem to solve this issue. Reinstalling the app doesn't work, nor does force-stopping it.
I've been using this app for quite some time, and it has changed my life! However, I think it needs to be updated, as there have been no updates in almost a year, and now Google offers a new feature called "REMINDERS" (a to-do kinda thing). This app won't show reminders at all, and it's a shame. Please, fix this.
the widget color options should be more detailed allowing more variety, not just light and dark. i think there should be more attention paid to users feedback. When you touch a day in the widget to add an event, it doesnt add it there but to today by default. This could be improved. Also adding an event should be easier and simpler.
I tried this app and decided to buy it within a minute of trying it. I have tried over 10 so-called 'top apps' (calendars) in the past week and this one, by far, offers the best integration of tasks as calendar entries. A couple of early observations though. It wouldn't be nice fort me to be able to configure my task entry panel. I have several Google calendars to which I grant others access. I need to make entries efficiently. Any unnecessary entry field is a distraction. I would also like to have a list of task entry templates. Then I can choose the right one to suit my particular calendar. Third, I need to have custom access to my calendars. I do not want a task entry for Group A showing up in Group B's calendar. Keep up the good work!
When I try and create an entry particularly using numbers eg my rota hrs like 630 230 after the second screen to complete more details some of the numbers are missing and despite clicking on the future date it's always selected today's day so I have to change it again. Using Samsung S6 with SwiftKey. It feels buggy now and have been using it for a while and always enjoyed it previous. Same problem still in September 2016.
Still trying to see whether it's more useful than the stock calendar, not convinced but I'll look (and edit this review) again if the bug below is fixed. One really annoying bug on my Asus TF701t, the top few lines of pixels in the right hand appointments window are not there, the text starts too high. Happy to provide a screenshot.
Thank you for coming to the rescue after sunrise closed and sold out to Microsoft. Great app. Font can be a little small sometimes. But thanks for making a calendar app that is user friendly, which I can't understand why there aren't more like this. Google calendar is aweful. Keep up the good work.

First calendar app for me to replace Google's. Love the split view and material design while still functioning essentially just like Google's own calendar app. The only problem I have is the widgets. They are buggy. Agenda won't go transparent with header. Split view shows up as month view.
It does calendar things, which is fine, but there's no support to speak of. No FAQ link or Help option within the app itself. I wanted this so I could sync my calendars across all my devices, seems the search for the perfect calendar continues.
Any chance of adding some text into any free day on the 'Agenda View' that says no appointments or similar as at the moment it looks confusing and could do with the simple text like 'No Appointments' to make it clearer that you have nothing scheduled. Hope this makes sense.
I need to see all the all-day events. I tend to overlook the tiny arrow indicating that there are more all day events in the week view. I don't like that when adding a new event on my Android device my ios and OS X devices show the "central European summer time" text in the event. Very ugly. Otherwise good app, working well and I like the agenda widget.
It doesn't appear to offer multiple notifications (1 day, 10 days, etc.). In addition, I can't get email notification working. Am I missing something? I am doing something wrong?
If I have 2 agenda widgets on 1 homescreen (to separate personal and work schedules with 2 different email); I would like to configure each widget seperately. . If I change what calendar to show in one widget, it changes it for both widgets. It's frustrating to see all the calendars mixed up together. They need seperation. Can you update this? UPDATE: I THINK IT'S WORKING.
I really like this app. There are some issues with the notifications. I'm not able to select a ringtone other than the default. Occasionally, events I create fail to be added, but that may be a Google calendar issue. It would be nice to be able to set a custom reminder time.
Broken drawing in Lollipop on my G3, crashes completely in Marshmallow CM13. Dev never responded to emails showing issues in screenshots. Sorry I paid for this. Paid for Event Flow. Much happier. (This review hasn't gotten a response in a little over THREE months. I rest my case.)
Overall it's a great calendar app. Only suggestion I'd make is, if possible, to display in Agenda and Split view concurrent meetings side by side to let the user note such issues in the schedule. Currently the meetings are arbitrarily one below the other.
Love it, all I use but having an issue with how to delete an appointment/event. Option refuses to come up. However, this has always been a frustration since I've had it. Deletion process needs tweaking. Whether it's due to updates I don't know.
Gorgeous. But buggy. Doesn't update to current month as the clock changes. glad you fixed the transparency/opacity bug. Also needs option to distinguish events by calendar color. Widget doesn't change month automatically. I'm preferring Mcw and Month widget currently but this has potential.
Today is absolutely first rate. I couldn't find what I wanted on any other calendar app, including Google's, particularly a view to show a month at a time with a split agenda view underneath. The design and contrast between the colours make it clean but also bold without being intrusive or dull. What a calendar should be. The graphics (for instance for a Birthday) are excellent & help differentiate between the events. The Dark theme is great too. Genuinely the only addition I'd like to see is the glass with the straw in on the Dark theme for 'No upcoming events'... I am so superficial! Give it a go with the free version & get the Pro version if you need the extras.
I really do like the app, even paid the $.99 for the pro version. The only thing I dont like is that it doesn't give you the option of copy like the other app I was using. Put that feature in and I will give you the highest praise! Hope you can!
The split widget doesn't work. It's just another month view widget. Love the app and the agenda widget is okay. I wish the split widget worked so I could have the same experience as the app on a home screen. Fix for 5 stars. Oh, also, there's no feedback link. Hence this review.
Great app, Great design, lot of customizations, I really like the app. One design nitpick: when changing the primary color I would love that it applies in the task switcher (instead of the always blue background with Today Calendar). Missing Android Wear support which I think would be a nice differentiation over Google Calendar as its Android Wear support is really bad (can't even get upcoming events for next days/week...). There are other calendar apps for Android but they are so ugly. Thanks for the work.

I've been using this over Google calendar for a while now. Love the look and feel but lately there are issues. For example, I cannot edit and existing event. If I do, the app crashes immediately. Also I've lost a lot of work after inputting dates due to failure to save or sync. It's been months since an update and not feeling great about future of this app. It could be so much better.
Integrate Google Tasks, fix Split View Widget, and make multi-day event blocks one to cover the entire length of the event (like Google Cal) rather than breaking them up per day, and it will be 5 stars!
Switched from sunrise after the latest Microsoft situation. Very similar but I would love it if you could auto-capitalise event titles. Small issue but annoying. If that can be fixed this a 5 star app for me! Edit: event input
Great UI, full functionality with 7 day week and all of day visible. Clear/concise widgets. So happy with this calendar on all mobile devices. 28/10/16 New phone (Nexus 6P) and I'm contacting developer about irregular crash but re-opens with no loss of data so no problem, just a bit annoying.
For some reason it is crashing all the time and asks repeatedly for access to files even when I agree. And it used to be irreplaceable...
The calendar overall is excellent and what google should use but it has some issues. The split widget only shows the month and no agenda on the bottom. I could be wrong on this but split widget sounds like it should display the split view in widget form. The busy body option has some bugs where not all the time is being added for the day and it seems to round to whole numbers without decimals. I sent an email but there was no response. Fix or explain these and I will give 5 stars.

First things first... this is the BEST calendar app available and well worth paying for the Pro version! Thanks for the effort on the app! I just installed the most recent update and the app was removed from my home screen and I no longer have Pro status. Pop up said to install free version (which I did) but I still don't have Pro features. Suggestions?
