Knitting Stash for Android
1.91: added ability to backup data. Open menu and select "Backup App Data". Your app data will be queued for back up on google's cloud storage and when you install Knitting Stash on another phone or reinstall the app your data will be restored.
1.2: quick fix for Force Close in Counters tab.
0.9:added delete confirmation dialog
0.8:
added Needed Shopping field to Projects. added ability to sort hooks by size or type.
App says to use menu button to add data....no menu button on Galaxy Note 4 running lolipop...come on Mr. Developer....do you even read these reviews?
Every option says "add with menu button" but there is no menu button.
Downloaded this app on my LG G3 but can't use it because there is no Menu button. Soooo....deleting.
Thought it would be good but Evey section says go to menu....THERES NO MENU BUTTON
I've been using this app for years and I love it! When at the shops, I can see what needles I have at home. And at home, I can see what projects are using my needles.
At first I liked this app, but now I find it frustrating. downloaded it a couple months ago and entered my needles into it. Wanted to add some new ones now and can't find the menu that lets me add anywhere. And needle lengths should be metric as well as imperal measurements like the sizes are.
What a waste of time and Mb! There was no menu so I couldn't add anything and every time I tried to find the menu it just kept opening the app. I've uninstalled it - total waste! Disgusted!
No apparent menu on my Samsung galaxy 5.
Same as other nexus 7 user, no menu appeared so couldn't add any data to the app. Disappointing.
Thought it would be good but Evey section says go to menu....THERES NO MENU BUTTON
Doesnt even give me a menu to do anything. Do not like this app at all
I have a Galaxy S3 and was really excited about this app. I need something to keep my supplies straight. It seems good except that there is no menu button to add my supplies. Very disappointed.
I used to like and use this app to keep track of my needles. I can no longer use this on my new phone. There is no "menu" button to add items.
There's no menu button to add needles or hooks.
Could not access the menu on my Samsung Galaxy S5. So sad - I was really looking for something like this.
Used to be my to go app, until I can't add needles on my Galaxy S5. An update needs to be done.
Five stars if the backup worked as described. I hit "backup data." It says "backup requested." I download the app on another device with the same google account, and there's no data. I've tried two different devices.
Glitches when counters reset from decrement to increment counting, no photos being saved and lacks ability to select already photographed projects, marking/sorting/arranging needles/hooks is not very useful besides simple inventory, and editing knitting patterns in the app is terrible and cramped - I mostly avoid larger ones and instead use Google Keep.
Would probably give it a better rating, if I could actually use it. There is no menu button for an android based tablet.
There's no menu for me to do anything. ..??? Wth?? I'll find another, better app
I can't even use this because there is no menu button
Add aluminum to needle types and ability to add brand names.
It won't let me add projects on any of my devices since the menu button was eliminated.
Great app! Would like space for recording yarn though. And please could you add a 12.0 mm needle size?
Love it mostly. Do wish it could use existing photos. And do wish it supported copy/paste and connected to ravelry.
I would give it five stars if there were a wider selection or even a place for your own measurement for needles. The length option is very limited
This app would be perfect if you could add a pic originally instead of back thru 'edit'. Otherwise a dream.
No way to back up this app, so when you get a new phone or tablet all your data won't move with you. Makes it worthless as a long term needle database.
Overall I love the organization of this app but a lot of sizes are missing (i.e. needle lengths, steel hook sizes, etc.)
Best app ever. I Agree there should be a yarn stash. Could also use a secondary counter within a counter
I've wasted $$ when I've stopped on my way home to pickup needles and end up with duplicate sized ones that I already have and I end up NEVER returning them...lol...Now I have a database of my needles!!! I love this. It works perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2....................... * note to developer...print option please. And where does the backup "queue" to???
Metric Issues: "Metric only" option shows needle sizes in metric, but length is only shown in imperial. Hook sizes are in US sizes only. Missing metric sizes. Also recent update deleted all needles. Uninstalling it due to this.
I've just upgraded from Samsung Galaxy II to Galaxy 4. I've tried to use Backup App Data without success. Has anyone been successful with data backup? Do I have to re-enter all my needles and crochets manually? What a bummer... I used to really like this app but now I'm mostly disappointed.
This has the potential to be a great app, but there is no menu button. Big dissapointment
But on my LG G3 there is no menu button, which renders the app completely unusable. Too bad.
After using it once. Now it opens but has no data. And no menu
This won't work on modern Android devices that don't have a menu button like my Nexus. Bummer, my daughter loves it, and it works nice on my Samsung Galaxy S3, but it needs its own menu button.
This is the app I have been looking for... If only it would work. I can't even get a menu selection. Too bad as this is the only app of its kind. Boo
I would give 5 stars but i am unable to log my smaller steel crochet hooks. Other than that it is an awesome app for keeping track of my hooks nedles yarns and projects

Installed it, then clicked on the top row for hooks. Told me I had none in there so click menu to add some. Where is the menu button?!? So I all I had was a blank page that I can change, but cannot add anything to it. What a waste. Shm!
