Revista Mocidade Presbiteriana

A história da Mocidade Presbiteriana começa já em 1936 quando os jovens das centenas de igrejas presbiterianas do Brasil já estavam se organizando sob vários nomes, como por exemplo: Sociedade de Jovens, Sociedade Heróis da Fé, Sociedade Esforço Cristão, etc. O Supremo Concílio então recomendou que os pastores dessem todo o apoio para que os jovens se organizassem em cada igreja sob o nome de União da Mocidade Presbiteriana (UMP).Em 1938 foi criada a Secretaria Geral da Mocidade, sendo o nosso primeiro Secretário o Rev. Benjamin Moraes (Digesto Presbiteriano 1882-1942, pg. 20).Em 1946 outras denominações já haviam organizado seus órgãos nacionais e nos também o fizemos quando, em fevereiro, no Primeiro Congresso Nacional da Mocidade Presbiteriana, foi organizada a Confederação da Mocidade Presbiteriana – CMP, cujo primeiro presidente foi o jovem Tércio Epêneto Emerique.A Mocidade Presbiteriana cresceu, a CMP esteve em todos os Estados onde existiam UMPs organizadas, colaborou na criação de Federações Presbiteriais, publicou o jornal “Mocidade” e realizou Mais quatro congressos nacionais até que, em 1960, devido a dificuldades de relacionamento entre a diretoria da Confederação e a direção da Igreja, a Comissão Executiva do Supremo Concílio resolveu extinguir a Confederação da Mocidade Presbiteriana e alterar a estrutura do trabalho dos jovens em âmbito nacional. Vinte e seis anos a mocidade passou sem o seu órgão maior.A Juventude Presbiteriana ficou triste, tirou o pé no acelerador, mas não se acabou. Em diversos pontos do Brasil houve real crescimento, foram organizadas Confederações Sinodais, e em 1986, foi reorganizada, capitaneados por Sinodais do Rio, a Confederação, recebendo o novo nome: Confederação Nacional de Mocidade.Voltou e, com ela a Revista da Mocidade Presbiteriana. Publicação feita sob orientação e apoio da Casa Editora Presbiteriana, sempre abordou temas comuns à vida do jovem cristão por meio de publicação de artigos e entrevistas além de divulgar e noticiar a agenda da CNM e os trabalhos da galera pelo Brasil. Entre idas e vindas, neste quadriênio, a Confederação Nacional de Mocidade acertou o passo com a Revista (RMP) e publicou suas edições de forma linear ousando mais uma vez ao decidir produzi-la 100% em formato digital por meio do aplicativo e no site oficial da mocidade tendo seu lançamento oficial em Agosto de 2013.Em 2011 a Mocidade Presbiteriana comemorou 75 anos de existência e, a cada quadriênio, tem sido revigorada pelo Senhor, crescendo de forma positiva e animadora para honra e Glória d’Ele.
