uMotif for Android
it's been a brilliant way to remind me when to take my meds and keep a diary of my symptoms and how I'm actually feeling and I had a fall few days ago so I can keep check of probs since I had it.
Easy to use and informative. If you log on with your PC you can see and print the graphs. Mine shows no correlation between pain and weather!
Absolutely love this app! As this app focuses on the weather alongside your daily log of pain etc, I find gives a better understanding of your good and bad days. I.e the weather possibly being the cause. Plus the graphs make it a lot easier to explain to your consultants your daily pain.
This App is brilliant it's exceptionally customer friendly, it's super easy to use which from my point of view being in constant pain often means I can't concentrate on anything else
A brilliant app. Great that you can also see what's on your time line. I use it every day.
Love it. Easy to use. Helped with doctors appointments. Helped me understand my pain better.
It does not appear on my phone as an app
Excellent application, I would recommend joining this study to anyone with a weather affected illness or condition.
Excellent app to compare how one is doing day to day and weeks or months later. Easy to use even with not great fine motor skills.
Very easy to use & understand. Great to be able to keep a record of how I've been & love that I'm able to show to my doctor as well.
Really enjoy doing this research survey. Very interesting to see how my mood, activity etc affects my pain levels. I'll be interested to see the results as I do think the weather has a bearing on wellbeing. Easy to use app and quick replies from the motif team if any problems
I've always been convinced that the weather plays a part in how painful my arthritis, and my spine that got damaged in an accident is. This app is really useful as it tracks your input on pain, mood, sleep (or lack of!) etc. and compares it to the weather conditions. It's very easy to use, you just tap the "petals" on the motif and then save it.
I love the ease of use for this app. The reminder function to prompt me to fill in and the diary function are helping me see patterns in not just pressure v pain but many other factors.
Really easy to use and a good way of monitoring your health and mood. It's good to know it's also aiding a legitimate research project into chronic pain.
Having problems at times. Set reminders won't always allow you to click them as done especially the medication reminders have had to uninstall & reinstall several times. Especially on my Samsung phone.
Found it very easy to use. Feedback of the results are very clear and easy to understand. The app reminds you each evening to complete the screen. Would recommend to anyone.
It may or may not be good but you cannot use it without being in a study. This should be made clear in the info.
I like the latest update, it makes the app easier to understand and use. Thank you.
It is very easy to use and will be very useful to me to track my symptoms and share with my doctor and family.
Registration screen working now. Going to see how it goes before rating again.
Any help guys?? The screen is blank when you go to register
The registration screen is blank ????
Will not save entries since update, crashed when I try.
Was worried that I wouldn't get around to filling it in daily but it's so quick I am managing it. Really looking forward to finding out if weather affects my impairments
This is great but since the update I can't work out how to put in a report retrospectively. Ie I missed two days and can't work out how to fill them in.
A brilliant app for recording varying symptoms and see if there's a pattern developing. Great response to questions and you're helping Science at the same time. Brilliant
This is a great app for keeping track of my pain and other levels. I really like the ease of use and that you can see on the graphs how the levels have flucuated over time
Like it! By
Doesn't load at all, such a shame
Very easy to use. Syncs up with my fitbit too. Fixing the reminder issue for Android so all good! Great way to keep track of symptoms.
Thanks for sorting my problem. Working perfectly again and got data back. Thank you. Brilliant app had 1hiccup apart from that very interesting and my rheumatologist likes the data.
Good app and easy to use. Love to think I'm helping with the research.
Have emailed you and not heard anything. I get constant crashes e.g. more than 15-20 a day and interfering with my other apps. So annoyed as all I want to do is help out. I will try and email you again as you ask but I actually emailed to the email address you give NOT via anything else like on here
Worked fine but now all I get is umotif has stopped working have tried uninstall and reinstall but it still doesn't work
Works fine but have noticed it has used 27% of overall battery in last 24 hours!?!
UPDATE put app onto my tablet and so far no problems,so want to be involved in this survey, just wished they made sure the platform worked before releasing it, please sort it out and yes I've already emailed and got the same reply as everyone else
Even though I forgot to use it for the past couple of weeks (at least), it was using 10% of my battery when idle. I'm a heavy phone user but this used up more of my battery than any other app, even when not in use, and I've been having to charge far sooner than I used to. The reminders work erratically too.
Managed to download and start using what appeared to be a straight forward app!!! Managed 2 days and now all I keep getting is Error 404? Please help and fix as I was thrilled to be able to help with any form of research. Thanks
Samsung galaxy s5 mini Drains battery big time phone lasting 19 hours instead of usual 30+ received phishing email after completing registration hope that is coincidence but first one in months.

Love this app. I've been part of the study from the beginning and I'm interested to find out the results in the future. I've always thought that my pain was connected to the weather, particularly the barometric pressure. It's about time someone did a study like this. People have said for years that arthritis/ certain types of pain is connected to the weather but nobody actually bothered to find out. So well done to the team for doing the study :)
