Hooked Deals

Too many notifications. Sometimes not the greatest deals, app doesn't choose deal the business does. Doesn't work unless you turn on location services. I know where stuff is, show me deals and let me decide where to go based on a city I choose.

App used to be good. Now hooked is allowing apartment complexes to advertise on a food and drink specials app. Convinced me to write a review based on how irrelevant this is for a good and drink app. 2 stars until this gets fixed. Let's all tell hooked what we want and don't want!

The deals aren't worth putting up with the notification abuse. I uninstall it after getting a deal because of all of the pointless daily notifications.

Biggest complaint with a lot of apps is the fact that their creators think it's a good idea not to include a way to shut the app up. I get that the occasional push notification may not be a problem for most. But I don't like them. So I'll leave my rating at one star, and uninstall. But a tip, add the option for other users

Does not work in NY what food app doesn't work in NY tbh and there's a lot of CUNY and SUNY colleges. Pretty much only works in a few cities near colleges that are famous for games or something.

Love this app. Great for broke college students like me save money, esp since I get too lazy to cook

I'm in College Station and really love the idea of the app, but haven't been able to use any hooks yet. I wish you could choose certain businesses to always give you notifications. The deals last too short to not have this feature and it's made it very difficult to use so far.

App would never load, just update infinitely.

The app does what it's supposed to do but the constant push notifications aren't worth it. I'm uninstalling and won't be returning unless the app adds a way to turn off push notifications.

It's a great app. Especially for college kids and uber drivers.

I'm tired of showing up to restaurants that no longer accept the app, yet the specials are still updated. Also, Hooked continues to post specials for restaurants that have closed doors completely or are closed that day. Mismanaged to say the least.
