Developed for astronomers, by astronomers - Using real high-resolution lunar images, 3D calculations, and 7 different resizable widgets, you can check the phases and rise/set times of the moon for any day, from any location, with this elegant, easy-to-use interface. All the information you need is quickly and easily visible in the app and on the widgets!

*This app uses some of the most advanced algorithms available for calculating the moon's position, altitude, azimuth, RA, DEC, age, and phase. Moon Rise and Set Times are calculated accurately to within 10 seconds. Moon phases are calculated accurately to within one day due to rounding and time differences. Due to different algorithms used by other developers, some applications and websites will show discrepancies for some phases, but those differences are trivial, less than 1 day, and no app will be 100% accurate. App must be installed to local storage (not SD card) for widgets to work properly.

Had this app for less than 1 minute before the most ridiculous intrusive uber ad popped up. No thanks. Added- 3 minutes this time and a huge cookie jam ad pops up. It's beyond advertising, this is the main event! Besides that, the widget doesn't work. That was the reason I installed the app in the first place. Advertising is fine if the app does as it says it will.

This is the cute, simple, easy to read moon phase widget I've been needing!! The clip art icons are very clear, understated, readable at a glance, and the widget clicks through directly to the calendar. The calendar itself is easy to understand, includes when the next full and new moon will be, the current sign the moon is under, what phase the moon is in, as well as rise and set time. This app is amazing!! There are occasional full screen ads that are easy to click out of, as well as very small banner ads at the bottom of the settings page, but the person who made this did a great enough job that I definitely feel like they deserve compensation for their work! If there was an ad-free paid pro version, I would most certainly pay for it!!

All in all the app is pawsome.I'd give it 5 stars, but the widget keeps showing the wrong percentage.
