Ultralingua Dictionaries for Android
Trying to buy the Russian dictionary... But comes up as not available
So buggy and unresponsive - Uninstall necessary
Easy, simple, and to the point. Only suggestion I could have is the ability to integrate it into office apps such as office suite.
A useful everyday dictionary, but not surprisingly there are some obscure little used English words that it doesn't include
I use it for my English assignment and in other languages like in French. Thank you very much
This dictionary is good but IPA pronunciation in brackets confusing!?
No English Arabic available as well as no voice or sound to hear the pronunciation of the word.
I used to have this on my iPhone and part of the reason I put off upgrading to Android was that this app was not available on that platform. Luckily after I had decided to move to Android anyway, this became available shortly afterwards. In the meantime I did try various other dictionaries on my Android tablet prior to upgrading my phone but they were all very basic and didn't fulfil my need. This is well worth the money and a fraction of what I paid for the iPhone version.
I just love it. Fast, lightweight and easy to use. Everything I need from a dictionary app. It is a bit confusing though, that you can purchase all the dictionaries as standalone apps as well. I bought the Collins English app first and discovered this app afterwards. I had to pay again, so I got myself a refund for the standalone app...
Could benefit from saving previous searches to the cloud, so they can be accessed when migrating to new or other devices; but still the best by far in my opinion!
I paid over $20 for the iPhone version, so the Android version seems like great value, albeit with minor quirks. It is great to be able to check spelling or conjugation rapidly. Def recommended!
If you're searching for a great dictionary application, this is it! Great definitions and also usage notes are very helpful. However I wish there is more detailed of each dictionary before purchasing (user interface and contents). So, it help users to decide which one they'll get. (eg. Collins version vs Ultralingua version)
It doesn't display the dictionaries I have already bought as separate dictionary applications from Ultralingua, this app is asking me to pay for them again!!! This is ridiculous. Even I sent an email complaining about this situation on 25 December 2014 buy they never replied.

Didn't liked the UI
Best dictionary app out there. Would be even better if it supported multi window on my Samsung phone.
One of best because it shows the artikle of each work (der, die or das) , shows examples in a sentence, suggestions when you spell it incorrectly and SOMETIMES you don't have to change from german-english instead of english-german. I've tried some of the free ones and I think it's worth paying for this one. Also great because its offline as well
Conjugations and translations are great. Very useful
Very useful. One of the best I've come across..
Enough said.
in the current situation in the united states, Espanola has and is becoming a necessity for every day life. like it or not the average English speaking citizen is faced with a culture shock. been to a government entity lately? or any job wanting the best workers for the lowest pay? and the Spanish aren't chanting "Death to America" if fact quite the opposite is true.

Simple and definitely a good dictionary tool...Simply best
Clean and fast interface, needs more options like font size. Italian-Spanish dict is decent but lacking in examples. Very bad search engine. Also when I'm looking at the conjugations, I'd like to choose which one of the different available translations is shown. Needs better back button behavior.
Excellent Offline Dictionary!
The interface is great but this app does itself a great disservice by hiding the dictionaries as in-app purchases. In-app purchases are a great addition for Android - just not for this app at all since they make all dictionaries impossible to find and to rate.
Please bring up auto keyboard while opening the app

Very useful. One of the best I've come across..
cant find some words like "anreichen", "mitunter" etc. Those words can be found in some free apps. Disappointed.
I'm a big fan of paper based dictionaries. Nothing beats looking up the word in a proper book. When I'm travelling light this app is my dictionary of choice, very pleased with it.
Best one I ever used.
No nonsense app. fast , smooth & stable, right to the point. Thks.
I finally got sick of half page ads on another dictionary app and tried this out thanks to a recommendation. It is a breath of fresh air. I wonderful job.
the good: fuzzy search works pretty good, automatic translation direction switch is not bad either. the app starts quickly on my Moto X (2014) the bad: the dictionaries are incomplete - many translations in conjugation lists are missing. dictionaries are $5-$15 each, so it gets pretty expensive if you need 2 or 3, and there's no way to preview a dictionary, so you only find out it's missing words when you purchase it. worst part - if you buy it, there's no returns or refunds. there's also no discount if you buy several. no way to adjust fonts/colours in the app. the REALLY bad: when buying dictionaries, description says 'hundreds of usage notes and examples' but there are NONE! completely misleading!
Best dictionary app ever. Can you please update in next version, to allow it to be moved to sd card. Not every phone has enough storage. Thanks.
I use it for my English assignment and in other languages like in French. Thank you very much
Even better if it uses a more updated design :) Edit: ran into problems after buying the Collins German dictionary recently: it doesn't link to the conjugation list, and cannot identity conjugated forms in the search field.
I've used this app before on iOS and loved it and am so glad to find it on android now. By far the best dictionary app and they have a very responsive support team. I would love to see a feature to search words within PDFs or within web browsers.

I've been using it for a few years and it's become my first option. I have three languages installed, so it's really easy to switch between the three instead of opening three different apps. Thanks.
