OpenBand for Android
... can you explain how I can set up notification for calls / sms / hangout messages? Somehow it doesn't fwork for me on a lollipop nexus 4.
Sadly this app doesn't detect my MiBand :(
After install and add apps to notifications - all vibrate on my phone off.
Could not get it to pair with Mohandas at all. Never installed official app either. Disappointed.
Would love to use, but force closes every time I attempt to, or doesn't find the band. Will use the stock app in the meantime.
Mi band doesnt pair with mi phone redmi note 3
Thanks for the great app. But if you could also make a Tasker plugin it would be a thousand times better
A espera de mais funcionalidades
Does not connect to MI1s
App works great, can't wait to see more features. Open source apps rule!
Just that, it won't connect to my MiBand. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to remove the original MiBand app for this app to work?

The official Mi Band app fails to login most of the time when the servers are busy. This app doesn't use a login so works great. Notifications work flawlessly except for incoming call alerts. But as soon as the call is missed the band buzzes and shows the missed call so it's probably because when the phone rings it doesn't use the top left notifications it uses full screen alerts. No sleep data is capture but who cares. It is still better than the official app.
It won't open.
Would be great if notifications and vibrations worked. Great start. Thank you.
اصلا نمیشناسه بندو ست نمیشه کثافت !!!
This app has a great foundation. The UI is very nice, but limited in functionality. I'm looking forward to future updates, I feel they will make this app 5-star worthy
Installed this because the Xiaomi app is no longer working. It had trouble finding band at first. Once I went into setup it found the band. Doesn't appear to do sleep monitoring.
Doesn't detect the mi band
Cannot find my miband
Thanks for the great app. But if you could also make a Tasker plugin it would be a thousand times better
Crashes every time I open it
Can't pair.
Fuddu app
It does not work but atleast it can find my miband .... So thank you for developing this app but please develop it asap cant wait for it
How can I set alarm?
MiBand not found.
Everybody that's rating that app should've read the warning: "this app is very much in the development stages". At this stage you can't really blame the app for crashes - the dev probably only has access to few devices and isn't working on it full time. Also giving it away for free (and not just now - GPL is a commitment). The app itself works (on lollipop, again, have you read the manual?), does what it sets out to do and looks nice. That's more than I can say for mi fit (which fails on login due to server issues), so I'm very glad that this alternative exists. Thanks for making it free software. I think stuff like this needs to be free.

Mi band doesn't vibrate when calls come in. I added phone app in notifications screen but band doesn't vibrate. Also, app crashes sometimes. Using
Moto G w/lollipop. Will check back at a later date.
The only problem is that the app doesn't support the sleep tracking functionality of MiBand. I don't have any idea if that has been reversed engineered yet, but if it hasn't I would be glad to help. I would be glad to help with implementing features like "jumping rope" and "abs" from the official app, too.
After install and add apps to notifications - all vibrate on my phone off.
Some minor bug can be expected - please continue the great work!
The app opens and run for a few seconds then FC
everything is fine except notification access
