Much more effective than the standard Ingress web-page map on my Nexus 7. The apps lets you get links to that map though, and links to Google Maps directions to portals! Also allows the team to share passcodes, with easy copy and paste to the real Ingress app to claim them! No more mis-typing and missing out! Map updating doesn't work on my HTC Desire C, though - limitation of early Android versions.
