Kisah 25 Nabi dan Rasul merupakan aplikasi yang berisi Cerita kisah 25 Nabi dan Rasul, mulai dari Nabi Adam, Nabi Idris, Nabi Nuh, Nabi Hud hingga Nabi sekaligus rasul terakhir, yakni Nabi Muhammad saw.

Kata "nabi" berasal dari kata naba yang berarti "dari tempat yang tinggi"; karena itu orang 'yang di tempat tinggi' semestinya punya penglihatan ke tempat yang jauh (prediksi masa depan) yang disebut nubuwwah.
Rasul (bahasa Arab: رسول Rasūl; Plural رسل Rusul) adalah seseorang yang mendapat wahyu dari Allah dengan suatu syari'at dan ia diperintahkan untuk menyampaikannya dan mengamalkannya. Setiap rasul pasti seorang nabi, namun tidak setiap nabi itu seorang rasul, dengan demikian, jumlah nabi jauh lebih banyak dibanding jumlah rasul.
Perbedaannya adalah Para nabi boleh menyampaikan wahyu yang diterimanya tetapi tidak punya kewajiban atas umat tertentu atau wilayah tertentu. Sementara, para rasul, setelah lebih dulu diangkat sebagai nabi, bertugas menyampaikan wahyu dengan kewajiban atas suatu umat atau wilayah tertentu.
