Almost impossible to drag code blocks and program the robot.

Well the hardware is great. The software on the other hand is useless. Whats the point of having instructions when you cant even download them. Keep getting no connection issues despite there being nothing wrong with the connection.

Was building elephant, everything good and suddenly the app got updated and now nothing works! I've spent 5 hours on this with my daughter's and now there's no instructions and it's screwed. So angry! Damn you Jimu!

dont buy the robot!!! the android app dont work with phones!! whan u ask for help from the support thay blame your phone! i have 10 diffrent phones in my store cause i sell tham for a living, and the app works only with iphone.. total ripoff. so dissapointing Its like dont fit to the screen so i cant see the next button.

App will download and models start to load but then stop- have to force close-cant build anything without it so what a waste of time! Emailed to ask about it and got a email saying the address wasnt able to be delivered to. What a waste of time and cash Samsung Galaxy s5

However it works great on my LG phone. Needs to be updated to work with latest Android version

It is a great app and the toy is amazing but they are both confusing

The app is intuitive and really helped me build and program the Jimu robot with my son. There's a programming part that is basically like Blockly and helped my son code a sequence of actions for the different robots he built with one kit. Pretty awesome.

Bought the Robot for my kid for Christmas (being boxed up as we speak to send back), the app required an absurd amount of permissions. I was okay with this, but then after restarting my phone I noticed some performance degradation (likely unrelated to Jimu) so I opened up my resource monitor which has a running netstat with it. And there it was several established connections to JIMU even though all I had done was pull the app for the pdfs. Don't know what they have as I'm not really wanting to use a packet sniffer but that is enough to have my paranoia alarm at 110 (and I use facebook).

can't download model on Samsung Note 5. (however, it works perfect on iphone ! ) the hardware itself is cool!
