UniFi Video

Cameras are wonderful, app is trash. If I can even get logged in it's almost impossible to get videos to actually play. This is why Ubiquiti can never be a major contender in the home security camera realm. I love their hardware but it's like they don't even care to improve their software.

Unable to view live streams, recordings play back however with a little bit of stutter. Would have hoped for better with an octacore phone. Live streams and video playback is fine on a pc

Would be nice to be able to adjust playback FPS so that It won't burn up my data so quickly. AFAIK it's some JPEG. Less fps means less processing resources, while saving data in some cases. Otherwise works good. Push notifications with JPG snapshots would be great.

I like the app, works quite well tho it would be nice if we could zoom in on recordings. I've been in situations where it would have been beneficial to show local deputies a zoomed in version.

Half baked it seems like all Ubiquiti unifi products. Video recordings should just play without hickup or delay. Latest update to hardware causes video and audio studder. It seems it wasn't tested before release. Also, no admin settings or management.

Need to have a WIDGET!!!! Something simple, with a few configuration options like 5-second refresh, 15-second refresh and 30-second refresh rates. And then this app would be great!

It's a very good app to see the streams of your unifi cameras. Well designed for the most part. I only wish it had just a little more customization features like arranging the grid for the streams.

Like the app, works nice except every time I connect directly to NVR Google Inbox crashes.

Plays for 1 second and buffers for 10. Viewing through Unifi Video website from remote location plays fine so it's not a bandwidth issue.

Almost impossible to steam recordings in the app even when I can stream from a browser on a PC. Sure it used to be better.

really ? a new icon ? I'm disappointed. we need you guys to move a lot faster. please prioritize being able to ENABLE/DISABLE motion alerts. the controller already has this capability.

Nice app. It's very annoying g how a simple swipe in zoom will inadvertently cause the camera to change to the next one. Please fix or allow an option to turn swipe-to-change-camera off.

Nice updated icon, how about changing the image of cameras not even in production any longer with ones that are? Complete overhaul of Multi view options would be good also.

I have been using this app to access my micro. So far support has been great in resolving issues, and developers do a good job with this app.

On my nexus 6 the live video the image flickers on and off and is not smooth transition between updates. The main camera list rarely updates the still image, should be updated when app starts or if refreshing the list. And I hate having to log in every time I believe most of my issues are resolved. Thx

Since last version it is impossible for me to go forward in a recorded video. Only Audio will play. Video and time stays frozen after buffering. Version 1.1.6 was way better. Edit: 1.1.8 is still bad.. :(

Super annoying that I can't get out of a camera if my phone is rotated. I have to rotate it back to portrait to get the back key to work. This app keeps getting better with every update. It was absolute garbage at first but it's quite good now.

This is annoying. Video doesn't stream, after buffering it shows black screen. Just a bullshit. I am accessing it with ways. Not working even on LAN

I really appreciate Ubiquiti's commitment to UX and constant updates to their software. My one biggest gripe with the last version was the cumbersome login and they have corrected that.

Having issues with sound when watching live remotely. The sound plays for like half a send and the drops again and again. On pc with chrome its fine and recorded video is also fine using this app.

It worked great until the last update, now it is randomly switching cameras when zooming. I saw another review having the same issue, which Ubiquiti acknowledged a month ago, but no fix yet. Is there any news on this?

Yesterday I installed it and it worked. Today it says log in failed and said could not connect to nvr. Sigh....i am hopeful that it will resolve by tomorrow

When you pinch to zoom and then try to move around in zoomed mode it always goes to the next or before camera. Swiping to change cameras need to be deactivated when in zoomed mode. Please fix.

Nice that remembering credentials was added however over numerous updates video still is slow, lags, glitches and overall is not responsive.

Great app. How about a Windows Universal App so I can use any of Windows devices like my Xbox One, Windows Phone etc.

This app needs more usability, new features and improves performance

I like the app design, however it has a lot of issues. Seems to work well with iOS, but not on Android. I use the app with an NVR at work and at home, and experience the same issues with both. It won't keep me logged in, then once I log in, about 70% of the time, I can't load my NVR. Crashes frequently. If I'm able to load the nvr, then viewing streaming video is a struggle. Video cuts in and out. Playing recordings doesn't work most of the time, 3 dots indicate loading endlessly. PC version works fine

With the release of most recent update to the app you CAN save you login creds now! This app is as far as I'm not concerned flawless. It does everything I need to it (connect to my cameras for remote viewing) without any trouble or extra fuss. It's just as fast as going via the website access now.

Hey guys love the app but for some reason it always signs out which is really annoying when I need it on the go. Sometimes it remembers but other times it just logs out. If this issue is fixed then the application works perfectly.

Need a save logging option. Also finger reading options.
