Watch Dogs Dark Clouds

Giving this another read given that Watch_Dogs 2 is just around the corner - app is buggy, but not that bad once you play by its rules. One thing I can't figure out is where on my device the hacking rewards are saved once you unlock them - anyone any ideas?

The app works fine on my phone but since this is a book is makes sense to read it on a tablet. However, the orientation of this app has a 90 degree offset (in-app portrait displays when the tablet is in landscape mode.) The model is Samsung Galaxy Tab Note 2 10".

Pages won't turn. Unusable

The rewards for solving the dedsec questions aren't saved to my phone, I even plugged it in other my computer and tried to find it but I couldn't and if you go back to find it, the question dosent show up

Liked how the book was tied to the world of Watch Dogs. App might be annoying to use at times, but if you persevere and read the story, you should enjoy it if you're a fan of the Watch Dogs main game.

Good story but the app needs to be fixed: it doesn't save your page. it dosent orientate proply, when you want it in landscape it puts itself in portrait and visa versa. it takes a few swipes to turn a page and when you complete a dedsec hack it shows a message saying "this file is now available on your device" for the life of me i cant find it. Also, one time it displayed a shortcut to a video i could watch but it took me to an ad for slot machines, and i dont think its something to do with the watch dogs universe, i couldn't see any hidden messages in it. So all in all im liking the story but hate the app.

Needs update. Pages need to be swiped a lot before they respond.

Waste of my money

Typical Ubi. I have to exit the app every time I turn the page on my opo. People have been complaining for nearly a year and they still haven't fixed it. Clearly even this division of Ubi is like all the others; they don't care what we think or want as long as the money keeps rolling in.

I enjoyed WATCH_DOGS and am a longtime fan of John Shirley, but I cannot recommend this app. Simply, it is nonfunctional on my Nexus 5 and Nexus 7. The app does not respond well -- if at all -- to page turn taps or swipes (I THINK page swipes are the necessary input -- there are no directions). The app does not maintain page display (it will occasionally jump at random back to the title page, and will often simply refuse to display certain pages in a linear manner). Hopefully an update will repair this app

So, i started to read the book, despite the stupid Portrait/Landscape orientation issue, and here are the problems so far: 1) There is no zoom in on the text. I have a Galaxy Note 3, which has a pretty big screen, but the letters are tiny. 2) The first Dedsec puzzle, on chapter 3, is kind of wrong. Check yourself the third screen you're providing in the description. There has to be a "C" letter in the middle of the phrase. Well, it's missing from the word "WATCHING". The "reward" wasn't saved on the phone. 3) There's no normal way of going through pages. I have to tap the screen several times for the app to change the page. Also, the app overloads the battery.

Automatically changes to landscape when I'm holding tablet in portrait view and vice versa. Unreadable as it just resets to chapter 1. Xperia Z user.

I cant even read it properly because when its in landscape its the book pages and when its in portrait its in the menu...fix this or give me my money back..5 stars if fixed

First of all, the cover page is vertically stretched and pixelated. Also there is no possibility to enlarge the text (it's harder to read at normal distance. I'm wearing glasses). The phone switches of if there is no interaction with the screen so i just have to touch it every 20 seconds. It's difficult to read it this way. The story is nice, but it's not enough for great user experience.

Honestly Ive just finished chapter two and got to my first dedsec puzzle. Here's a few things that need to be fixed. It needs to be possible to read horizontally made more compatible with phones. Im using the S3 and when solving my dedsec puzzle and typing it zooms in alot and messes up the whole scaling till I change page. Also the "Reward" didnt save to my phone when it said it did even after I checked. Please fix this asap. Page changing also needs to be smother I find myself swiping multiple times to get the page to turn. Great Story so far but a badly designed app fix the issues stated above and I'll be happy to give a 5 star review :D Also please remove that More Games button from the homescreen its really just an eyesore and I've already payed for the app I shouldnt have to see adverts.

New edit. I hate to give this two stars but issues with reading it are getting on my nerves. When I swipe to the next page it gets stuck, I keep swiping I am still on the same page. I swipe back I am 4-5 pages ahead of where I should be. I try from the main menu to get to my page it puts me back on the page I was one. Cannot get to page 102. Reading on a Nexus 7 2013.

I have no idea how to "break" them. Can u please add a tutorial or something of the sort please? Thank you. :) it also doesn't save where I last read up to. Please add a page saver or something like that please.
