The previous version of this app is still way better than the updated version. I get error message like 'oops there is a temporary routine maintenance bla bla bla every now and then. It forces you to use pin and the option to change to either OTP or har token will never show up. You guys should better give us something we can enjoy
I don't understand you people... The last app was simple and workable but no you won't leave it there,just so you can join the ban waging that says we have upgraded...Now am going around in circles with no exit to access my own account....Candid advice don't change a functional car just cause there's a new one in town...Well can't blame you it's a banker's life...
This app is good but often time it debits without completing transaction. And make it in away that even weak network can open the app. Finally, the app has not been working for sometimes now with continues maintenance error message. Fix these and you merit my 5 stars
I am outside the country and needed to transfer money from UBA to another account in UBA. I couldn't even register on the app let alone doing the transfer. UBA this is really shameful that something as little as e-banking in this present age is a big deal and equally as rubbish as your several other service. Smh. I'm sure that any 3 star and above for this app is from your bank staff. Total rubbish.
This is absurd why can't ypy people assist me for Christ sake I lost my phone and when I bought a new one I downloaded the app and since then I can't log in again I have tried changing my password but it keeps telling me that a verification code has been sent to me but I don't receive any code thereafter
A simple transfer didn't go through after trying like 100 times. I had to delete and reinstall on claims by the bank staff that I have an outdated app. Still nothing. It Sucks. What's the point of having the app if I can get anything done on it.
This app sucks. It doesn't open when I sign in. It keeps saying that it's undergoing maintenance and when it finally opens, transaction may go but it will say transaction not successful and I will keep sending without knowing it has gone through later the person I sent the money to might call to tell me that they have gotten alert. It's bad because I might Transfer more than the amount because it doesn't show successful transaction. Your customer service representative updated it still it's worse. You people should work on it.
Very frustrating app. I was only able to use the old version to make transfer once. It always gives me that annoying "oops! Something went wrong". I installed the new one and it is even more annoying cos nothing works. I can't even sign in. I tried to refresh my password and got the same "oops! Something went wrong". I'm uninstalling it. I'm disappointed in UBA.
Pathetic! I downloaded the app as a loyal customer and cause I needed it urgently and I couldn't even register. It kept giving different error messages about network(which was perfect) and routine maintenance being carried out. It's pathetic I had to opt for Quickteller which was perfect. Unreliable at this time and age. A definite one star.
This is the worst mobile banking apps in Nigeria. I have two other banks and their apps never had a glitch for a day. UBA's app seems to be on a perpetual glitch. Shame on UBA. How do you explain this for one of the strongest banks in Nigeria. Get it right. Your IT unit is ineffectual.
The worst app I have come across. It is a pity a bank as big as UBA is so backward in this regard compare to other banks. The app is a total rubbish and not reliable at all. Works today and don't work tomorrow......... Up your game pls.
This app is trash.... Isn't helpful at all. Always showing me an error message like "oops! There's been a temporary glitch and they are working on it blah blah blah... This is really fucked up. BIG TIME!!!
I have been trying to to use this application for a long time but the registration is not working. I have contacted even the bank through twitter yet my registration through the debit card always show invalid card number. Please if you need my 5 stars you need to put me through on how to register on it
I don't know why UBA have to put an application which can not be used online I download dis app and am using visa but der was no visa card in der option. Is DAT not rubbish
Not sure why it took this long but the app is up at least. However, only one account is showing. I try to link my dom account using my token but it keeps returning an error message. There is still work to be done.
This deserves 0 star. The most useless banking app i have ever seen in my entire life.. Am ashamed of my bank. How hard is it to develop a functioning app? Sort this out. Nonsense.
I don't have 24hours acccess to my account. It gives pop up message: transaction cannot be completed now due to ongoing maintenance, please try again later. And the try again later never ends. Kindly fix this issue.
There is only one word for this app. It's RUBBISH! Every time there is an update, I keep hoping you will get it right this time but no, it is the same thing all over again. Now it is asking to update my biller list. What does that even mean? I have only one bloody account with your bank
Makes life easy! This updated version is super. Gives all my balances on one screen. But one draw back is absence of print menu.

With the brains in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. I can't believe this is the best of what UBA could come up with. The app takes longer time in opening and it keeps saying 'Maintenance in Progress'. I haven't gone one week successfully without experiencing problem with the app! This is bad for business especially people who use mobile banking!!
Very unreliable...with the same network strength other bank applications function well but I keep getting maintenance or poor connection messages. Its the only banking app I use and to be honest I will have to create an account with another bank if I am to comfortably transact at times when I can't find an ATM or deposit at a bank due to close of work hours. Its really frustrating cause I have to beg others to transfer money for me with their banks to pay them when I can withdraw. You have a lot to work on this app tbh. You shouldn't need super internet speed to work with it,among other improvements.
Only a true user will define the truth about this new version while those from other competitor will dispute. With experience of software end user I can confirm this version as an improvement infact one of the best apps right now. If you have other issue related to handset or network visit thr bank to help out somehow or advice you. Thumb up for UBA group
Uba is very frustrating. I have trying to do mobile transfer and even ATM transfer but still none is going.haba

I un installed the older version on my phone and upgraded to this new app. I can no longer use the app, I keep getting this error message when I try to have a verification code sent to my phone: Oops! we are very sorry, a general system error or temporary glitch is affecting the system, we are working to fix the issue swiftly, please bear with us. Update: Have managed to reinstall the app after a reset by UBA CFC, it suprises me that anyone can rate this anything above one star. The app response is slow and transaction is seldom is successful except for account balance check. Compared to other banks Mobile app , this is not efficient. The app should be updated.
I used this app once and it worked perfectly.. I changed phone now this new version dpeant work at all.. and i cannot use it to buy things on aliexpress which i use to before can you please help or should i go to another bank

An improved version. However, I do not appreciate my account balance conspicuously pasted on the first page as I sign in. There should be a little privacy for that. Again, for whatever reason my payments for DSTV are no longer going through as it keeps reversing, after several hours. If a bug, pls fix.

If anyone finds it difficult to log in after updating the app; just click on the "forget password" and follow the instructions that follows. The app is quite okay for now, no problem at all.
Yea, its an improvement only that it's unavailable/'undergoing maintenance' 50% of the time! Please work on that.

Poorly guided app. No direction to register the app online or suggestions on how to register it. FAQ is useless. If an educated person finds it difficult to start using it how can less educated person.
This latest U-Mobile version is quite intelligent and more interactive. I could have given it more than 5*****. I encourage others to update to the latest version immediately and see for yourself. Keep it up UBA Team.
Honestly the most frustrating banking app ever in the banking hall it is frustrating to access your funds also frustrating now to use their app I think we need to go back to the days of piggy bank at least one can be able to access their money anytime they want.cant open my app and when it does finally open you can't do any transaction worse still they will charge YIU heavily for text messages when their app is a monumental mess

This is a big improvement from previous versions, the developers have finally sat down to do their homework. I love the feature of adding a number straight from my contact list when I want to do a recharge / Top-up. However, this feature only works when the contact has only one number associated to his/her name. If a contact has more than one number (which is mostly the case) this feature doesn't work. Please fix ASAP. Still reviewing other features.
