Under Armour Record for Android
Used to record walking workout flawlessly, but today used it for the first time in about a month and it didn't work well at all, but instead crashed, losing my workout.
Seem to have trouble loading profiles could be my phone though anyone any ideas ?
It is really helpful when I go for long walked with friends and my dog cause I can easily track how many steps I have walked and how many miles too. I highly recommend for those who are out and walking all the time but cannot afford a fit bit watch etc.
I have to turn on app by 11:58pm so it will sync steps from my GS3 frontier before steps challenge end. 24hr step challenge shows as 2 days and my wife's Fitbit steps aren't synced with app most of the time. Disappointing
Widget doesn't look good at all on S7 edge. Other than that an ok Android app
The only problem is that i have to have myfitness pal to track my food and i have not figured out how to get that section to highlight correctly in record.
compare to the iphone version android version lags all the time. syncing with myfitnesspal sometimes works sometimes doesnt
I cant even log in! I click "log in with account, put my info in, click the LOG IN button, and it takes me to "create account" then does nothing.
Love it! The worst thing about it all is how quick the battery runs dead on my UA Band.
Very buggy app. I have it because it was recommended with my UA JBL heart tracking BT headphones. Every running workout is detected as double the steps, time and calories somehow, and it passes that sht along to myfitnesspal too messing up my daily calory intake. Cannot edit profile after setting it. Cannot delete the workout either (bug). Just full of bugs. I like the coaching and the timely report while running with heart tracker though so I try to put up with all the sht but I hope they get it together soon.
It has taken me a few days to get used to using this app and I am still learning it. Much better than the other app except I would like to see a way to measure my heart rate added to this; if that was added then 5 stars guarenteed!
I liked that it syncs with my Under Armour calorie app, but that's where it stopped. It didn't sync correctly with the workout piece, and at least once a week it wouldn't save my sleep time; and when I tried to manually re-enter the info I'd get an error message saying I'd already logged hours during that timeframe. Who creates an app that won't let you edit!!
This app can see my Under Armour 39 device but never gives me a heart rate even though device is supposed to only communicate when I can get a heart rate. I can't find anything this Friday with this program is good for because I really want to use it with the Under Armour MapMyFitness but that doesn't work either even though this sees my Under Armour 39 device. It is all completely useless
It was nice that it syncs with myfitnesspal to auto record workouts, but the workouts it recorded were wrong, miscalculated and the calorie burn calculator was way off. It would tell me my 3 mile, 8.5 min mile average run only burned 200 calories. There are much better apps out there to record workouts.
I really like this app and how you can interact with other people. It's a nice motivation tool and a way to learn new workouts. The one thing I'd really like on this app that they don't have is a notifications tab to keep up with likes and comments, etc.
Added this app because it is promoted within the S Health app. However, it does not read all the data, like exercising. I also has MyFitnessPal, and, from there, it only pulls exercise info for calorie and nutrition tracking. Since the app can pull 3rd party data for everything else, it is odd and disappointing.
So disappointed in Under Armour. Wanted to be an Under Armour fan. Their Fitness strap only worked for about three months before it started showing screwy heart rates (2 of them did the same thing). Their shoe sizes never fit correctly so you're always guessing what to order. And this app always freezes my phone after about 30 minutes and I lose all my workout data. I would expect a better product out of Under Armour.
Why on earth would you only make s-health syncing one way for exercises... Only works from record to s-health ... I got a gear fit 2 and the GPS etc works best with the built in gear software. The UA GPS sucks and is off by 1km after 16k so I need to use the gear app but it of course only syncs with s-health.... Frustrating
My S Health records my steps and sleep pattern, etc via my S3 watch. It records my sleep accurately from my S Health, BUT it doesn't in regards to my step. I believe its recording my steps via my phone and I see no option to change that. S Health is connected with underarmour, but for some reason my S health info doesn't translate accurately into underarmour, all except for my sleep pattern.
So disappointed in this app from Under Armour. Steps are wrong, sleep into totally wrong, doesn't sync correctly with its own apps or other apps or should sync with. For a name brand such as Under Armour, I would expect A LOT more.
Worst app I have ever used. Does not work with S health despite the newest information that says it should. All these under armor apps are terrible.
It would be great if it didn't freak out and lose your heart rate monitor workout all the time. Three times during a 70 minute walk. Finally gave up and lost the workout.
Could have given it a higher score but interface is really slow. app lagging most of the time and unstable UI... widget does not work..hope that you can also include sleep reminder to notify when to get to bed to achieve sleep hours goal.
I should have know I would have trouble with this app after reading recent reviews. Like a fool, I downloaded it anyway. The app lagged and crashed while I was attempting to log my first workout. Terrible first impression, hope UA fixes, because it has potential.
After Download I tried to register a U Band tracker for steps & sleep etc. To go with the MyFitnessPal App. It would not accept, though all info was correct. If it doesn't work first time, it's not worth a light.
Loved it at first. My biggest issue with this app now is that it requires WiFi or cellular data access to do anything! Why do I need to go to the Internet to sync with my Bluetooth device? Best I can tell, it takes the data from the BT device & ships it up to UA, then back down to update the app. Stupid Stupid Stupid. Data & syncing with non-wifi devices shouldn't need ANY network connection at all. But... there it is. I'm deployed right now, and Internet isn't always available. Neither is my data... If it's over a week, I'm just screwed. Manually record & enter it... I am now looking at a replacement.
So unreliable for sync with any partner apps. About to give up on this one, love the look but hate the app. Won't sync meals with MFP nor does it sync workouts with S-Health.
Needs a feature that helps you find it if it falls off.. gps helps but need a pager or noise of some sort... the band of is easy to come on and off .. So it can fall off easy.. otherwise great device
I really love this app and how easily it works with everything that comes in the UA Health box. Although, the only thing preventing me from giving it a 5 star rating is that I've experienced a lot of annoying bugs/glitches. There are times when I use the app to track a workout and after finishing it, it registers as me having done it twice. Also, there are many times when my band doesn't sync with the app itself. When connected to the app through Bluetooth, I can see everything tracked on my band in the settings but doesn't display on the app. I really wish they had a easy way to communicate with customer service within the app, since I'm still facing these two main problems often.
Can't edit manually entered workouts, so you have to delete and start over if you make a mistake. Time intervals are too far apart for accurate run times. Can't enter the duration for entries that you log. Thesis a new issue that wasn't a problem in prior versions.
After about 40 minutes the app slows my phone during workout tracking. The phone becomes unresponsive and even locks the screen sometimes. Not sure why this is. Great app for really short workouts.
Couldn't get past registration due to inability to set height in cm. No way to change units. Dumb.
I tried to make an account. It tells me I cant be registered at this time. I got the shoes with the chip but without the use of the app it's useless. Fix your server's.
A real useful tool. Has some flaws but way more positives than negatives.
I primarily use this app for sleep recording but after the latest update that has been completely broken. When it miscalclates total time slept and when you manually add/adjust time it losses your progress. Please fix soon or I will go back to fitbit.
love this app, but my only question is why do you have me located in Annapolis? When I'm not even near there, tried to change my location but it keeps telling me my location cannot be detected, would really like this to be corrected
Had to get used to it but a cool app non the less. Most activity recognition ive seen in an app. Tracks many different exercises and sports. Works well with their other apps to help track your health.
It's a good though, but there are a few things that need SERIOUS attention. 1) The widget does not update properly. The nutrition portion which syncs with MyFitnessPal never updates. It stays blank on the widget, but when you go into Record, it displays properly 2) They REALLY NEED to make an option to change the background (or at minimum make them solid color)in the app. The backgrounds on there are really not good for people like me that get migraines. When you start scrolling with the psychedelic backgrounds they have it it really bad. Like seizure causing bad. 3) If you are going to allow connection to S Health for sleep tracking, you should at a minimum make it TRACK SLEEPING! I have a Gear S2 and Samsung Note 5. I use S Health to track my sleeping and it has worked flawlessly. When I saw Record could import this I got excited. Until I synced it up and then saw the error message saying you need to buy the UA tracker to record sleep? WTH? Either allow it, or don't. If they can fix these three things, then it will be a good app. Until then, keep trying UA.
I want to like it but seems since they added Shealth it longer properly tracks my steps. Shealth will say I've walked 12000 and UA will only calculate 3-4000 of those. Why?

It stops recording in the middle of a workout, I hope they fix that soon. Also doesn't always sync with my fitbit.
