BabyView for Android
Every time I tried to use it it said connecting. Pretty poor quality for Samsung in my opinion. I had high hopes of this purchace, but for the price I cant submit anymore than just one star, as the product with monitor and camera are good, the adding device is poor quality.
Slow and has spelling mistakes on the UI. Very unprofessional of a big company.
Can't get it to work. It won't let me select the advanced settings tab.
Camera will not connect to WiFi. This was the main reason I bought the SEW-3057W. Guess I am returning it.
Updated version will actually connect to the camera off your local network. Finally! But if you then close the app and open it again, you must force it closed and then reopen or the camera will show offline. When you get it to work, you can actually pan and zoom by swiping and pinching on the camera display. This isn't readily explained. The process to connect to the camera is clunky... All the way around the app is odd, especially for something from Samsung. I would assume I should also be able to receive phone notifications in the even sound or motion are noticed. But, again, the app is extremely basic.
Doesn't meet the standards of a top tier price point or brand you'd expect from Samsung.
Simple but easy to use. Able to view and listen through app.
Very simple to use. Love the new audio function.
Very helpful!
Easy to use and works flawlessly. As to be expected.
This is great!
The app gets forgetting the settings for the baby monitor, as if it was a fresh install. Pretty annoying because I have to reconfigure the thing every time I want to use it - which is always when the baby is asleep.
The App does not work in terms of viewing the camera from outside of your home network. Have had numerous calls with support team (all very nice) and have tried everything including putting the camera in my home's DMZ and also manually opening up the ports that it needs (according to support- ports 23 (telnet), 80 (webpagehttp), and 9090 (streaming). Still just hangs with a message of "connecting" when outside of my network. Returning and trying again to see if it was just a faulty camera (doubtful since it works just fine within my network). Problem is that this is such a new device and app, that they aren't familiar enough with it to accurately diagnose and fix the problem. Reason I picked this over others was for the remote viewing capabilities, so if we can't get this to work on the next one, I will have to go with another brand.
Crashes when I try to add a device. Using a note 4
So far so good! App always opens I have no problem using remotely.
this app sucks
This app is in its 'infant' stage and I believe it has just come out with the new Samsung baby monitors. The issue that I am having with this app is actually getting it to connect with my home WiFi after connecting with the localized WiFi for the monitor device. Hopefully this issue will be resolved in future updates as many people will probably buy the Samsung monitor with the purpose of using the monitor streaming to the phone. Without that function then there are much less expensive alternatives on the market.
App design can definitely be improved. Look very amateurish. However, it does work.

Needed to use an iPhone to do initial setup. It kept saying it was offline. Once the camera was on WiFi it works fine. Please fix the initial setup problems.
