UK Tide Times for Android
Tide table apps are almost useless. Any decent app shows graphical data. Would be easier to buy a local tide table each year.
Dover high is +1hr on other tide tables and it crashes a lot
I couldn't put it on my SD card so I had to uninstal it.
Useless
When this app works it's really good, but it crashes at least once every application. I've paid for the app in the hope it was better but this hasn't made a difference. The app currently doesn't work for me which renders it useless - whens it going to become stable again? ------------ 1/1/2016: still crashes after update every few usages but at least it starts. The adverts are back which shouldn't be there seeing as I paid for the app.
Thanks for updating app works fine now, apart frm the fact that i have the ads back again?
Freezes on startup, freezes going between the various tabs, bad experience.
Suddenly stopped working! Which is a shame, came in very useful! Fix please!
Rubbish
Finally a tide time app that allows you to see times be the a week. The garage count is broken though, I've launched it once, and first check said 7, after a shortwhile, the count had increased to 21…
A decent App that allows for forward Planning..I use it as a Seawater Lido, Manager in Brixham, Torquay, UK. Very useful for Pool Cleans, which is simply via a 15" pipe with a sluice gate on the end of the pipe. simply works from differential pressure heads to drain and refill.
Perfect for sea kayaking on the north Norfolk coast. Great for planning best weekend to go out on the water.
Starting to think all these apps pinch data from the same sources - most of my local places of interest missing, just the bigger ports probably nicked from BBC/ Met Office. Fine if you live in a bigger location though.
Found this indispensable while on a holiday on the Welsh coast as the beach where we were staying was difficult to get to at high tide. Checked this app against the coast guards tide times and it was 5 minutes off or more for the same location but close enough not to be too inconvenient.
I like the appearance and the fact that you can have times in GMT or BST and in the 24 hour format. Locations are listed alphabetically but it would be nice to list them in geographical sequence. I couldn't try out the map because the app always crashed within a minute or so. I would be lucky to get tide times for one day or one location - not both; the app just stops and a message pops up to say "This app has stopped working!" I can see that, but it doesn't help me!
Nice to have the weekly view for forward planning & the map location put me on the fourth boat along on a marina pontoon in Plymouth - eerily accurate lol !
Managed to set my quickest ever time for uninstalling an app.
Seems to be unaware of Blackpool
Uninstall
Works fine, attractive and easy to use. Nice visual presentation for depth. Like it a lot.
Just wouldn't work on Sony Z2.....,
Most useful looking tide app I could find. Info' compares favourably with my RNLI tide table booklet. I like the way one can scroll the dates back and forth. Cannot find anything to fault this app.
Tide times wrong today's low tide is 18:08 on every tide prediction site on app 19:49...
I live on the Fylde, but there is nothing near me, not Blackpool nor Preston. If I am missing a way to change locations, then it is obscure. If not, then it is a pointless app.
Rubbish
Not for me
Doesn't find Lee on the Solent!
Went fishing near Bournemouth last night and high tide was nothing like the correct time when compared to BBC which did have the correct time...
Tides in the UK. ...... try searching for the river Severn at sharpness.....not on the app
Looking for an alternative to the simple and clear Aperto UK Tides which had disappeared after a server change? This isn't it. Screenshots looked promising, but app is slow to load, portrait only, limited locations (Bude not listed), weekly tab defaults to London Bridge with no obvious way to change to your location. Uninstall and keep searching/hoping for one better.
What is the point of an app that only gives the tides in one location?
I've always used UK tides. Org and this app seems to be out by an hour in comparison

Does exactly what is required. As a canoeist who lives in a coastal town I find this app invaluable for planning trips.
I'm a regular sea swimmer - this app provides all the information I need. It's really easy to use, clear and you can search tide times in to the future (beyond just a week ahead) - essential when planning future swims in different locations when a slack tide is important.
Does not pinpoint gps location. Tide time points nearest me not covered. No tide graphs. Slow to load. Keeps stopping. Uninstalling it.
Why don't these apps show neaps and springs got a star only cos I could not give it none
Higher contrast display for bright sunlight, "favourites" locations, more up river stations (eg R Alde), default 24 hr BST. Bug: have to close and re-open to change weekly port.
Clear information, simple to use.

Tide times are wrong - today in Aberystwyth app says high tide at 3:40pm - tide clearly going out around 1430 and on checking BBC see high tide was actually 1414. So an hour and half out - stunning work guys, uninstalling
