Overall I like the app, but I get frustrated when I am switching between devices. It only keeps track of the most recent page, not the furthest page read. So if I happen to open a device that already has the book open, but have read farther on another device, I cannot get back to where I was without some difficulty. I also have issues on my android tablet, at times it will freeze, and if I can get it to work, it has gone back several pages. I often have to restart my device to get it to work again. I still use the app regularly because I like that I can read well written books for free, but wish that it had better functionality.

App updates over the past few weeks seem to have fixed a few of the issues that irked me initially. Still not as many controls as other e-readers, but at least it is remembering where I left off reading about 90% of the time now.

Easy to use. Lots of free books and audiobooks at your finger tips!

I understand why my library changed services but cloudLibrary pales in comparison to Overdrive. There's not as much personalization, which is a minor problem for me, but having to keep my Samsung Galaxy s7 screen on AND open to cloudLibrary to use the audio controls is a hassle. I loved being able to pause, rewind, etc. when my screen was off or if I was in another app. I'd be super duper happy if y'all could make those changes. Please! And thank you!

Coming from Overdrive there are far less features. Although I do like the simplicity, I miss the ability to change font and also the option to turn pages with the volume buttons on my device. It also does not have a night mode... It may take some getting used to :)

Downloaded on Tab A. First step is to set up the app by selecting your location. At this point I get an error message. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and resetting my tablet. This app is completely unusable and extremely frustrating.

Major issues reading some books because some of the dialog will be in a very tiny font that you need a magnifier to see! Changing the overall font doesn't fix it. Since the update (Dec 21, 2017) downloading doesn't work right, either. I wish my library would switch to a different app!

Was working perfectly until recent update. Now shuts down while reading, searching, etc. Font sizes change on their own. PLEASE FIX THIS BUG, I can't even explain how frustrating it is to get kicked out of the app while you are reading.

When playing audio books it often stops. When I try to start again it gives a playback error. Usually I close the app, but ultimately restarting the phone does the trick (not every time). Very frustrating. Libby is also not perfect but for now far more reliable than this.

Font size problem renders the app useless. Not a surprise since the Windows app is also useless but in a different "Windowsy" way. I'm disappointed that my library switched to this rather than stick with Overdrive.

library used to use overdrive which I loved. they moved to this app and I'm extremely disappointed. I've only been able to download one book. when I finished it, I returned and went to check it another but it wouldn't download. I tried another book and that wouldn't download either. i just want to read books! the size of the font was unreliable and different everytime I opened the app. fullscreen mode isn't available and that bugs me (this I could live without, I just really want to download another book). deleting this app until changes can be made.

Excellent for the ☺price! Does very occasionaly refuse to open a saved book until I can get to a Wi-Fi connection. Otherwise it is great and simple to use on my Samsung tab s2.

I like the app. It's user friendly but has problems, shuts down while listening to books. Has nice features, would rate higher if more reliable like overdrive was. Crashes regularly

Generally very happy with this app, but after the last update, I can no longer actually download new books. It just freezes. LG G4. Hope this will be fixed soon :)

This app was fine before this latest update. It wouldn't allow me to return an ebook, so I logged out. Then I couldn't log back in and it kept showing an error message and wouldn't allow me to choose a country. The update was supposed to fix some bugs, instead it created a bunch of problems that weren't there before.

App was great until recent update. Now everytime I open a book, it goes back to the beginning. Which wouldn't be horrible if I am somehow able to get to my bookmarks. I can't seem to find where my bookmarks are.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. The font size is different every time I open a book. If you close the app, turn off the tablet, or the screen times out while in the middle of a chapter, it kicks you back to the beginning of the chapter. Ebooks are missing random pages. Sometimes tapping foemthr next page does nothing at all, sometimes it launches you 4 or 5 pages ahead. It's very obvious my library went for the cheapest option available.

Had been a good app until the current version 3.5.10, which has a fatal bug. You cannot reliably download books!!! The app locks up during download on multiple devices, multiple versions of Android (5.1-7.1.1) . The "developer" mailbox passes the buck to local library staff using autoreply. (I don't blame the human developer(s) , they were probably laid off just before Christmas.) Autoreplying "ask someone else" is the wrong definition of service, as in servicing a cow (FU). I can't imagine how a company that makes money by renting eBooks that can't be downloaded could expect to stay in business Oh well, back to using dead trees. :-(

Oh my, ok the first time I tried it I wasn't happy but now I love it. I would like to be able to put a favorite on some to go back to. I love it now! And you only can have 3 at a time, I would like it to be 5.

Used to like this app just fine, but it won't download books any more. They just stay stuck at 0%.

The app pauses without prompting and/or shuts down completely. This seems totally random and is highly frustrating!!!

Only got to use once. The book changed last page every time I opened it. Font and margins were unreliable and hard to fix. Could not see around changing box to see if it even changed any. Now I can't download and start on my new Tab A.

Some books do no work with my device. The print on these books is tiny and the app won't enlarge them. Only with some books, but usually the one I most want to rea.d

Like others, the library used to have Overdrive and now has this. The app is terrible when it comes to audiobooks. It has stopped playing the book 5 times in the span of an hour. Very frustrating! I don't use this for ebooks since I can't send them to my Kindle. Very unsatisfied.

The app worked very well until recently. I am unable to download most books. Since I can no longer use it I am deleting it.

Minus one star for not allowing transfer to Kindle app. Minus one for serif font only. Minus one for battery hunger. Library had Libby, now has this -- a downgrade.

I listen to audio books to and from my daily 45 minute commute to work - and with the Cloud Library, browsing and borrowing books (all free!) is so easy and convenient.

Still not as good as the previous application that my library used.

Why hasn't this bug been fixed??? I have to uninstall every time I want to dl a new book. Please fix!!!!!! How has it taken this long for someone to notice?????

New update freezes while downloading books.

I wish I had more books to listen too. I was looking for a specific book and it wasn't there. If this is a catalogue of what my home library has then there should be more options.

Great app with extensive access to various genres through my local library. I'd like to see it expanded even further.

This app is ok for reading ebooks but I have used other apps that are more user friendly and have better features.

Have enjoyed quite a lot of unexpected books on here after typing in key words to the search engine. I am pleased with it.

Loses my place every time I switch books, or close the app. Recommended for single-page books only.

It a decent system but like most there aren't many books or audio books for African American readers

I have used this app for more than three years and on four continents. It never fails.

Great free audio books. It's not the library of congress, but plenty of titles

Works extremely well for my audio books! No need to go to library to get new books now!
