I we having issues with the links to the nav rules on my device. I was impressed at how fast they got back to me to make it right. unfortunately it can't be resolved on my device. however they have offered to refund my money.

I am studying for the 100 ton Masters license and had assembled many books and study aids. I even downloaded the entire database of questions (1 very thick 3-ring binder) and was going through them manually. Then I came across this wonderful app. I now use only this app and the official USCG "Navigation Rules" book (even though the Rules are included with the app). The part of the app I use most are the quizzes, which are the verbatim questions from the USCG exam. The quiz is a randomly organized 20 questions from the USCG database. It keeps score and it also keeps track of the questions you answered wrong. Those questions can be made into a separate quiz so you can keep going over the questions that you miss. The graphics are strikingly clear, the app is well organized and is a pleasure to use. If you are studying for a Rules exam this app seems to me the surest way to get prepared. I contacted the author directly and we had extensive email conversations. He was extremely helpful

A really good app for learning the Colregs on the go. Emailed the developer with a question about the app and had a response the same day.

In less than 72 hours this app from my rules score from 70% to 95% on average. When I had a problem loading it on my phone, to developer contacted me personally and fixed it within 6 hours. I can't wait for the next modules and I would happily pay triple the price for those. Well worth the investment!

Been looking for something like this.. Tried a couple of free ROTR apps out there but they were shoddy and some had wrong answers esp. about lights and shapes.. Definitely recommend this one.

This ap is fantastic! I have passed the DWO exam (open and closed book) three times and this is by far the best prep tool I have seen. Practicing real test questions will really set you up for success. Practice while waiting in line at the store or during your lunch break with the convenient quiz function. A must buy for the professional mariner!

I really like the quiz function but I can't get the rules of the road to load every time I try the whole app crashes.
