Story Outline:

A very big storm is coming! The Squirrel family, Monkey family, Sparrow and Little Honey Bear are all worried. How are they going to stay nice and dry? Explore the forest and meet the cute and kind characters as they rally together to brave the storm in the spirit of ‘Co-operation’. Titled “A Very Big Storm”, the story inculcates positive co-operative values in children like co-operation, sharing gratitude and more.

A co-operative is an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations through jointly owned and democratically controlled enterprise.

Who produced this storybook?

"A Very Big Storm" is part of a series of children's storybooks which the Singapore National Co-operative Federation has produced for the commemoration of the United Nations International Year of Co-operatives 2012. SNCF is the apex organization of co-operatives which aims to promote and develop co-operatives through the principle of self and mutual-help.
