2houses for Android
Not the friendliest app and does not make the other person that the app is used with pay their portion. One person has to pay for it then you can hope and pray the other side will pat it....ya didn't happen in my case.
Not happy. Being ignored after asking why instead of answering a question they made a change on my account which has wiped my parenting scedules of last year and all of this year....no response all day when isually you get one after a few hours. Ive paid for the app and now theyre ignoring me after messing up my account. Why they can do that has massively alarmed me. If my issue fets resolved ill up the review but right now im very very angry....
App was easy to navigate. But no place to put child support and you only get a 14 day trial, the have to pay for subscription. Kinda crappy when app is advertised as free
I spent an hour entering information, etc. Only to find out this wasn't a free app and my free trial ends in 2 weeks. Not to mention trying to add birthdates and it reverts back to 2017 even after selecting the correct date in the drop down menu. Luckily, I get along with their dad that I really don't need this app. Definitely has some bugs to work out.
This app has been very helpful in keeping record of communication between two different houses, and is great as it keeps all documents in one place with time and date stamp! This has helped us co-parent better.
Very simple app that doesnt allow you to set up pick up drop times on the calendar and therefore absurdly overpriced.
Overall is a good app. However we no longer recieve notifications on our phones when new messages or things come in. We just have to keep going into it and checking to see whats up.
You get a free trial then it cuts you off making you pay. Even though its advertised as a free app. Not worth it in my opinion.
The schedule is easy to work with. The "finances" portion is a little complicated but all in all is good for the money spent on it.
Recent app updates have improved many "bugs" and overall the app works much more smoothly than older versions.
Makes the life easier, balancing the expense, calendar is awesome too!
Fantastic app. Proven to be very useful for my family situation.
Good application, could use a few upgrades. Overall we are pleased.
This app is perfect.
WOW
Love it
Our custody arrangement is i have main custody, dad gets him every other weekend, thurs-sun. Thursday isn't an option in the scheduling so this crappy app won't work for us.
It was a good app to use before they started charging us.
"Talking Parents" is free and admissible in court. $20 a month for this is ludicrous.
However, the login is not saved. I have to enter user name and password every time I open the app. The calendar is much better now. We would love better messaging integration also. Thanks much for the app!
This app is collecting ALL on your private life, this is crazy!
Can't get passed calender won't make schedule
The latest update lost the dashboard feature. Functionally the program still works the same but new look doesn't improve on user experience (based on quick review). Calendar needs options like filters, also an option to input messages or journals externally would be nice. This could be done using an special email so a teacher could send one message to that address and then it creates a message/journal entry where both parents are notified. This could be expanded to separate email for finance so e bills
Was looking for a way to communicate easier with my ex husband. Had previously uploaded this to my phone and deleted it, then my ex decided we should try it again. When I uploaded it again it's saying I need to choose a subscription and pay at least 19.99 or more. Why would I pay 19.99/month???! This seems like such a great app that could help families but the cost of 19.99/month is selfish and out of this world!
Had tried several different solutions to aid in co-parenting and this is definitely the best. Customer support has been excellent (other services either did not respond or would not really answer the questions). If you have children with different parenting schedules this is the only solution that works from what I have found.
This is perfect for co-parenting. It keeps track of everything, and if you have any problems they get back to you quickly and the problem is fixed.
Just started the trial and can not choose anybody to send a message to. This app is useless.
Couldn't even get in the calendar
I'm not really sure what I was expecting with this application but it's not what I'm looking for. This application is very plain and doesn't have a lot of useful features. Also, it doesn't explain how any of it's internal applications can be resourceful. Does it save the messages? Once the other parent signs up, how do you modify or customize the application to work for the both of you. Once I signed up, I received an email telling me, my free trial has started. I don't want to pay for this basic app. UI!
When I try to save photos doesn't download to any folder on phone. Sometimes notifications don't show up.
It is missing too many features (ie. Attachments, read receipts, formatting).
Sending a simple message takes about ten steps. It's poorly designed and confusing. Slow... I can't scroll through the calendar, instead I have to click arrows and wait... text boxes are almost unusable. Horrible app.
I have had this application on my phone for 4 months now. When i first started using the application it was free and as such i was willing to accept its short comings. However this is now a subscription service and its not worth the money. When i receive a message though the app i can open the message from my phones notification tray fine, but if i wish to open the app and view messages again later there is nothing in the message tray. to work around this issue i have to open my email containing a copy of the notification and use the link to open messages historically which is cumbersome it is actually better for each party to email one another directly. Also once you are setup with an account and your former spouse is setup you send the link to join you to the other you each have to individually send and accept the other. So accepting a spouses request does not link the two of you together and information flows only one way so you may think the other party is receiving your information they are not . these are just 2 major flaws i would tell you many more but i have used the max characters for a review
Enjoyed this while free, but can't justify expensive subscription. Charge us for the app instead.
I have gotten 2 emails within an hour of downloading this app asking me to 'pick a subscription'...money. deleting app...not worth it.
The app is decent for the most part, but the messaging interface could be vastly improved. Sometimes I can't backspace/edit what I've typed. Also, would be great if messages could be seen as 'read' or not. Finally, there is currently no ability to add attachments. Bare bones.
Can't exit using back button. Must use "home" button so app is always running in the background unless I go into my task manager and force close it. Seriously annoying! Wish my ex would use OFW. They're SO MUCH BETTER! Samsung Galaxy S5
After I sign in I cannot access anything. Everything is fine and dandy on the website but when I open the app nothing except my profile will load.
Cant respond in coments. Need a link to paypal to pay expences so i dont have to rely on my ex to post that they got the $. An ok app needs alot of work!

Very simple to use and has improved communication with my son's dad. I love that it has places for attaching important documents you want to keep in a shared place, like report cards, proof of expenses. I think it has helped us avoid a lot of potential conflict. I would highly recommend 2 Houses.
