surespot encrypted messenger

Please change the way it plays audio messages. It always plays the last one i receive, not the next one i havent heard yet. Also when u receive message it always brings the "camera" on the last message i receive not where i was reading.

This was a very good app however the last update makes it until unusable the space between character or punctuation marker's no longer work. It completely useless now I'm installing now

Been using Surespot for about 5 years. Most reliable text/pic messenger I've ever used. Encrypted end to end communication. It's the Best. Surespot doesn't do video/audio chat, but for that, I use another app with "WebRTC" support

The app jus won't send msgs it's said sending for hrs for like 20 msgs. I Un installed can't sign back in and can't make new account say error checking for username that I want. I tried other names but still the same. It won't let me open account old or new.

I love this app. Its the most secure and its open source. I miss the old emogis though ????

I've liked this app so far, except I have an app(wiretap removal) that detects when another app is making a recording and it says surespot is constantly recording. What's up with that?

Most efficient use of screen space I've found in a messenger. Conversations are presented in a compact yet easy to follow manner, ideal for those that prefer content over cartoon bubbles. It's private, it has voice mail, it even has new emoticons to fill in the gaps for those of us with older android versions. All this and it doesn't demand your phone number or email address! Thank you Mr. Developer!

Before i got this app I was in the dog house alot for cheating. Now i can call places in search of more females and my corkscrew boston terrier can't check my phone once I'm asleep at night. She's jealous anytime i visit with other females at the pound. Now she can't listeng##þ788 []hehe All joking aside..... my ole' lady can't read them either. ;-)

First the good. Slick UI, secure encryption and doesn't require a telephone number a huge plus point - difficult to run an SS7 attack on an iPod! Now the not so good. Based in the USA. Not open source & the big one (for me at least) the app allows for private key to be installed on any number of devices - this just opens the door for Man in Middle issues. Bottom line? Despite the negatives I kinda like Surespot for its simplicity and clean UI, so intuitive even your granny could use it. That said, it's not my main app when it comes to secure communication.

Waste of data! wonder why i can't use space key that's why I'm not able to send any messages. Pls fix this and definitely I'll give you 5 star guys

I don't use it too much as my friends aren't on it. But I love the fact your own messages disappear from both devices when you delete them. One word of advice though. Generating new keys pairs will render your previous backup saves useless. So always backup immediately after doing that.

I'm looking for convenient and secure popular-messaging-apps replacement that are not sharing my details unless asked to. Sadly, their fixed 1000 messages limit means I simply can't use it for long-term. Too bad, because all the other features look ok.

I cannot bring ppl to use the app. The interface really sucks in comparison with the other chatting apps. Work a bit on the interface come on.

So far so great, the application has been very useful and i feel that i will continue to use it unless i encounter problems. If i do i will update this review. I would give 5 stars but the voice is the only problem that i have because its not free but not everything is.

Working fantastically. I would love a feature that shows if the message has been delivered and read, but that is low on the list of priorities I had for a secure messaging app, surespot checked all the boxes except that one! Especially not having to sign up with my phone number! Thanks for making a fantastic, easy to use app.

wont let me make account every username i pick, even if it shows up as available always ends with an error message saying its picked, noticed someone else was having this issue in recent reviews

I like the UI and overall performance, but I'm still leery of the potential for data storage. What happens to the messages that are deleted? Are they stored on a server somewhere?

Why can't I create a username/identity without it saying unable to use try again later? What's the deal? Legit won't let me do anything.... Is there a bug/glitch? Please respond Surespot administration.

The paid feature for voice texts cuts off messages at 10 seconds. Very disappointing. Uninstalling. Refund demanded.

I was having a photo issue, support have fixed that bug making surespot faultless for me

It's meant for encrypted messaging. Not to be pretty or the next coolest messenger. It more than serves it's purpose. Good job guys
