Loyal Books: audiobooks ebooks

thank you guys for this app and for your website where I originally stumbled across it. The app is so great for reading a large array of old and more modern books. Although all books u find here are in the public domain, this app simply makes them easy access. All is needed is a few mins for download. Also the app has a great option for u to be read the books by the guys/gals that have kindly taken the time to record their readings for our enjoyment. It can be a little weird hearing voices change each chapter or so but I cannot complain. Oh I cannot say 100% but as far as I have seen all is free as well, and I've read and listened to many books so far. Again thank you

It was great til I tried listening. The first time it worked, then it started telling me "unfortunately, loyal books has stopped" I'd press okay and it would just take me off of that book but keep me in the app. Frustrating.

Loyal Books is an amazing app. It does crash once in a while but it is quite easy to reload it. The app is extremely well organized and easy to use. Books are available in both text and audio formats. I'm very grateful to all the wonderful volunteers who have and are developing this app and website. You are truly a shining light in this world. Thank you.

This app was great! It had a sleep timer, a speed changer and lots of nice books I must say I was disappointed the chapters are chort and you do not have the option to change the voice when I stop the audio I can not turn it back on. All thought the stories are wonderfull I would not get this app.

I enjoy this app alot. I used to only go to the website to download, read, and listen to audiobooks, but I was told by a good friend that Loyal had an app so no need to download books when you can stream the audio version. The app is very convenient and accessible almost anywhere.

Love the website and app. It's free classic literature ebooks and audiobooks. It hasn't "crashed", but it won't automatically play the next chapter's audio unless you have the app open. Still an amazing app for free audiobooks and ebooks if you like classic literature.

There are a lot of interesting books to download but after each chapter it terns off. There is no way to turn it off and yes I have already used the clock setting option and it didn't work.

Nothing against the app personally. My complaint is, I couldn't find one book NOT recorded by Librivox narrators!!!! Grrr I loathe Librivox!

Didn't even get to listen to one book. Kept crashing before I could even choose one. Very disappointed.

Opening the downloaded audio book makes it crash. Once out of eight times it did not crash which is not good enough. 3 stars for the idea and the effort, but that would mean "It's OK". But it isn't OK, so 2 stars only :(

I can't rate this app with good rating due to constant crashes, everytime I open audiobooks that were downloaded the app crashes making it unusable. Devs, kindly look into this issue. I have already sent crash report with log.

There's a few glitches that occur here and there, but this is the best and most promising audio book app that I've found, and I hope they keep up with the good work! It's certainly the easiest to find books that I want to listen to. I'll be supporting.

Great for ebooks; bad for audio. The audio player keeps crashing. I use Librivox for audio. It's free & does not crash.

Edit: It sees like this app crashes while trying to play downloaded audiobooks. This app looked perfect for discovering and listening free books. But it is too unstable to be used. It crashes all the time.

Worked fine until I added more than 1 book. I would rate it 5 if it would stop crashing every time i open a downloaded book

So far disappointing - brilliant range of books, subscribed to several, downloaded all of 5 children and it, and then 1st chapter of Moonfleet but neither will play. Press play button > and nothing happens. Do hope i get advice about this or will have to delete app and i would really like access to these and many other books :(

but the Add To My Library button makes no sense. What is the point if when you go to My Library it tells you: DOWNLOADED AUDIOBOOKS ONLY.

Could be a great app if it didn't crash so much. Super frustrating...

I've been using librivox through I-tunes for years. This android app makes it a lot simpler and easier to enjoy all the great titles available for FREE. All the greatest authors and their greatest works are here, FREE! Every genre, for every age group. Oh, and did I mention it's free?

I don't have a lot of time or the attention span to sit and read most of the time and though the app may crash sometimes I'm completely in love. I get to listen to so many books on my long commute everyday!! Best app I have imo. And it's FREE!!!!

I have know idea what's going on with this app, because the first few days I used it, it worked 100% fine, then the last few days over time I hit a book I have in my library it kicks me out of the app, it take me now three to four tries before I can fine be able to stay in the app and listen to my book, please fix or it looks like I'm deleting and going back to the website to listen to the books i want to listen to .

Now it crashes when I open a book to listen to.

There are many language book and audio book. For practise and studying language, we can read and listen in the same time...and it will be better if you let the reader could adjust the speed of sound and link it with the translater..thank you.

I really like this app, sure it's little glitchy and will shut down but it has potential to be something great.

One thing I don't like is that it quits for no reason randomly throughout the day?

App crashes all the time, stops playing even previously downloaded books, and it loses downloaded books so that I have to download them again...

Closes after 30 seconds. Downloads books backwards. Wouldn't mind using it but I'm uninstalling

It's the most beloved site forever and the app come up with the new light. I like it.

Crashes when trying to listen to downloaded books. How can this be sorted?

It cuts off every single time I try to use it. Worthless.

Great variety. Will give 5 stars if you change the sleep timer. I like to listen for more than an hour

Working well. Allows you to adjust speed of reader. Large number of books to choose from.

You can download the entire audio book so you save data and the app provides also de pdf ...awesome app !
