Critical Hit

Critical hit is a very well designed mordheim companion app with an easy-to-use interface, yet I am not a fan of its pricing model since it requires individual payment for each warband divided into to two payment categories(either by one time roster or by unlocking the warband) which sums up to a very expensive total.

spectacular app. No more toiling over old parchment

Awesome for starting a warband. Making a list is super easy and it outputs playsheets as pdfs or right to a network printer. Five min here and you are ready to play, but anything past the free factions can be a bit pricey. The warband packs are especially expensive, but would be completely worth it if you could level them up. If they ever add that capability this will be an amazing app.

I really want to give this app a higher rating. It does do exactly what it says and helps you build an initial roster but that's all...and i think the content fees are a little steep. If they could expand the app to include campaign support then I would gladly invest in the purchase content until then it remains a slick looking interface for a very basic function.

If you need to plan a new warband, this is for you. But prepare your character sheets. This app is for setting up only and doesnt record advances

Fine for setting up a warband. However, keep pen and paper handy for levelling your warband up as that isn't an option on this app, which is a bit annoying. Having to keep an internet connection on also isn't ideal.

Only basic human warbands in the basic download. No Hired Sword or Dramatis Personae support, even in paid content. Almost every other warband must be unlocked as an in-app purchase, with groups of warbands costing over 5 GBP! Seeing as the info is already out there, printed (and owned by) GW, you're essentially paying well over the odds just for these 'developers' to type a bunch of stats into a template.

App is free but you have to register to use it. No thanks.

Won't even let me get into it. Add my details to have it say account already made. Then when I send details to email. Tells me no account on system.

Have to pay for every warband

The app is OK for building starting wat bands, but it lacks the ability to advance characters or access unusual items. Also, you have to pay s buck every time you want to experiment with a war band idea. Since this is a dead game, you should just charge a flat fee to unlock factions or a blanket charge for all.

It didn't do anything. Almost a completely blank screen which responded to nothing

Exactly as described. Very nice interface and faithful to the rules but a bit slow. Hoping campaign progress support and speed boost will be added soon!
