AllConnect - Play & Stream

Works great for everything except the web browser part. LiveLeak keeps telling me the processing failed on two devices and one of them just keeps redirecting bing searches and can't even get to the LiveLeak site. Everything else works fantastic (such as playing media from my DLNA server to my endpoint renderers. It sucks having to use Web Video Caster for my browser casting needs. I'd love to be able to use this single app for everything. Thanks!

Was working fabulous and then it just stopped. NOW I can't use it at all. Was using it with Xbox one. I deleted it and reinstalled it then deleted it again. I left it off for about 2 wks reinstalled and it worked. Then it stopped again uggh! Keeps saying can detect Chromecast but everything is connected. So we fixed the issue and it works GREAT!! Definitely the BEST. THANK YOU!!

Garbage, seldom located my Wi-Fi network while my phone is connected to it. Shouldn't be that hard to Locate..get together. How does it not locate the Wi-Fi network the phone is running on? Simple, I'm connected to home Wi-Fi, and it doesn't recognize the network.. Sounds simple.. Update maybe.. Consistency just isn't there. Looking for a new app.. Glad I didn't pay for it, I'd be in there doorstep looking for my refund, and i bet their app wouldn't recognize I was right outside their door

I want to apologize to the developer for an initial low rating for what seemed very irrational operation on video streaming many times. As I figured out today, my Apple TV device needed updating and rebooting. Once done, this App seemed to work pefectly each and everytime I have brought it up and streamed video. I would say great app from this point.

It's a great app where you can stream YouTube . Stream photos and videos from your gallery. However there's one big problem. The music has to be in local media files. Which means you can't stream music from SoundCloud app or Spotify. Which really sucks. Also the browser function in the app does not work. So when these things are fixed it will be a great app.

This app is lovely. I solely use it for streaming music locally from my phone and it does that better than any app I've tried. Cast functionality and an elegant interface makes it easy to look at. Update: I've had this app for about two years now. To see the direction it's taken is extremely frustrating. Ads are EVERYWHERE. There should be no reason one pops up and another one follows suit immediately after. I don't even remember seeing ads on this app when I originally downloaded it in 2015. Why not offer a paid version? The layout is more difficult than before. The overall experience with this app has driven me to the point to find other options, I recommend everyone else do so also.

It's not a bad app. However, I am disappointed at the fact that I am unable to stream certain audio files, such as FLAC files. It's not too hard to convert them to MP3, but for me personally there's a distinct difference between lossy and lossless audio.

Was much better before they changed it all with a new look, now it plays hardly anything. Totally wasted a brilliant App. I had previously rated this 5 star's. Hope they fix it and I'll RE-rate it. 6 months have now passed and it's now streaming showbox app to my Xbox 360. It's a start

Great app that allows control of multiple dlna devices. A couple of enhancements which would make it 5 star: long titles should scroll since at the moment it isn't possible to see the name of long titles, this is especially a problem with tv shows. Second issue is that the app doesn't switch to landscape. This would be useful for using the seek bar more accurately.

Really good out of the box solution but found a couple of things I woukd expect were not there. Could not see how to save a playlist for example. Detected TV AVR right away and worked great. Has one serious flaw which means I will probably try something else instead of buying. No folder view. I couldnt just browse the music as it is organised on my phone the way I like. Thats a pretty huge flaw for me.

It was working fine. But now when I'm connected to my Xbox One it stops casting movies while I'm in the middle of it. I can't pause the movie/tv show or it will quit working after five minutes or not work at all. It was working great and suddenly I'm having nothing but problems.

The app refuses to connect to anything. I tried to link it with a Roku. After several minutes of waiting, I backed out of the connection attempt to find that the app is complaining about my not being connected to Wi-Fi, despite having been connected to super fast Wi-Fi the entire time. The app is absolutely worthless. Do not waste your time dealing with this.

Ads are crap. If you have to pick up your phone to close a 30 sec popup ad every couple of songs it defeats the purpose of hands free wireless streaming. This app also just sits and spins for minutes at a time before starting a song to airplay speaker stream. Once it starts playing, the only way to stop it, or change volume, is kill the whole program. Looking for something else.

This is one of my favorite apps! BUT Apple upgraded the firmware on my Apple TV Generation 4 and now none of my streaming apps work with it. Apple took down the error message and said they would forward it to the engineering team, who will look into it and then contact AllConnect and let them know what they need to change to reestablish compatibility.

Seems to work flawlessly so far, I wish the back button would go to the very previous screen so you can see what you were just looking at instead of all the way back to the home screen. Also, wish there was access to your playlist screen to name it or edit it when playing music, you can see the songs listed in the queue and remove, but you can't create a playlist from it. Just some small layout issues but streams instantly to xbox one so far. Very smooth too, no glitchiness when changing screens, etc...

I can't get the web browser to work. Often it has some weird thing going on with bing. It doesn't support flash and sites I want is British catch-up stuff but all I get is error. Also when stream to STB via airplay will lock up STB when show is finished. Need to start a new stream to then quit.

Used to work, now I get an incredibly long wait for the app to tell me that Chromecast doesn't support the video format (MP4). No work around or other file formats have resolved the issue, other apps steam MP4s without issue. Does not work on multiple generations of Chromecast.

Browser in this app is not working at all it only searches for the top media links provided but when I type any url and hit enter it doesn't do anything. It is not searching for the url or anything. Disappointed

At first this app was great, i could stream my music to my TV an it was awesome, no problems. Butever since the update when I choose my playlist and the add pops up it just keeps cycling through ads and it wont let me close the app anymore and when I leave the app to go to another it pops back up and just continues replaying. This is seriously frustrating because the only way yo make it stop is to restart my entire phone..

It used to work great. It got updated a few times since the last time I used it, now it doesnt recognize my Apple tv. It did for 2 seconds and then I tried to open a youtube link to watch and then it disappeared again. Theres nothing wrong with my Wi-Fi or anything like that, everything else works fine. It's sad they have ruined a previously good app. On another side note, the new icon is annoying because I was used to the other. As a feature request, I really wish it had airplay mirroring for the whole screen, that would be awesome.

I only had this app for a day but it does exactly what it says it does. I'm so estatic to find an app that does just that. Im looking fowatd to seeing what else it has to off but very excited about the possibilities... Thank you developer's for making a worthy product

waste of time - does not work. Serves me ads just fine, which I guess is it's purpose. Finds my chromecast device. Finds my music library. Refuses to play music. Brain dead.

Browser doesn't work, simply loops url continuously. I believe that could be due to the other problem. When you connect to the wifi for the app to work streaming to TV, it also turns off your main wifi connection therefore you cannot connect to see the browser. Last of all it does not have screen rotation therefore it does not mirror my screen to the full effect...

There has to be an option for the following 1. Exploring videos from folders, choose them and play 2. Creating a playlist 3. Photo Slide shows with audio 5. To avoid lcd burning effect , need a visualiser

Never works properly i can never just connect to tv. Support never responds to messages this sucks. They responded and still no result i am over it. Instead of passing blame just fix the problem.

It stopped working with Apple TV recently. It used to work fine till some time back. Now getting a message on Apple TV regarding airplay support only available on iOS7+ devices and other apple devices.

will connect to my chromecast, but when I cast something, it never casts, just sits there with that loading circle and nothing happens on the tv. boycott these idiots.

It just doesn't play anything from browser. Fails everytime. Wanted to give 0 star unfortunately ratings starts from 1.

Total crap. I connected, instead of working on my connected TV, it would make me watch a commercial, and never cast to TV! Total garbage!

I complete app that is co.fortable running ads. Clearly very incomplete, as the developers are in 'feedback mode'. Don't sell an app or put ads in it until it's tight bunghole, just common sense. You pissed a lot of people off with this. No I won't help you develop this app as it has already raped me with ads and not worked at all.

This is one of the best apps I have found for casting offline content to my fireTv. I was just concerned if it uses Wi-Fi data for mirroring the offline content from my phone to the TV set??

I don't understand how you people develop such bad apps. At a simple try to stream from youtube some sound to my DLNA compliant stereo system the app failed to do so. I understand that this is free software, but same is Linux. And that one works.

This app is actually pretty great if you have Control4. The ads are a little annoying but they dont get in the way too much. All in all it's a good app

Adverts too obtrusive and lags videos terribly after last update. Used to be an excellent app. Not anymore.

The update basically ruined app. Like the new vibe but now the connection has become horrible I can't run the app in background

Fast and set up. However there doesn't seem to be a to change the orientation. So my pictures and videos came up sideways and upside down often.

Hi. I stream music to airplay, and when I close the screen the music stops. Then when I open it up it plays it faster but with sound errors. So 4 stars for now. Great tho!

Awful.. Connected ONCE and it's never connected again. Before I'm asked to email your support... No I won't. I've tried multiple connections and it never connects when both devices are on the same connection

This is just what I need! Now, since I'm here I want to point out that the logo on my chromecast gen2 shows gen1 instead. Another thing is that the volume isn't saved which isn't ideal as you always have to wait till the video starts playing before you can adjust the volume and that takes your precious time. Thanks!
