TRENDnet SmartHome

Looses connectivity about once a week and has to be reinstalled. Doesn't work with IFTTT so it can't be integrated with some of m my other home devices, such as Arlo.

Fails to open. Also crashes a lot. TRENDnet will not fix. This company refuses to offer any customer support or product support.

It works if I am on home network but not if I am on LTE or other network. My other brands work fine.

bad execution. The documentation fails to mention that the WiFi SSID needs to be visible for this to work. This is really a security shortcoming as visible SSID draws in hackers. There is also no coverage on how to get through the home network's firewall from a remote location. This is something all internet camera apps address in their docs.

Rarely shows my THA-101. Sometimes does after a force stop, then clearing the cache and attempting several times. I can even reach the device by IP address from Chrome on my phone but not through the app. and then later on it will appear? Unreliable and incompatible with Tasker, IFTTT etc.

App does not even load on LG G3, works okay on Samsung galaxy note

When it works it works well but does seem prone to a lot of random crashes. Would advise setting the switch up through the management login on a PC rather than using this app as if it crashes half way through a config change it can cause you problems - been there, got t-shirt etc
