HooToo MyCam Pro

Repeated attempts to configure the Hootoo camera Wifi through this app has been unsuccessful. Wifi it's extremely difficult to configure even with the CD that came with the camera. I am an experienced network person and I love the camera but will only work for me directly connected to the router.

Can't get passed the menu screen on my LG G3. What is the point of having the camera if I can't even use it? Fix the app!

I bought this in June set up was easy, worked fine on Android devices, I traveled to Europe and the middle east in August the camera and the application did not deliver as it suppose to all I get is a statement saying unknown device I am glad I had a backup system for this is pure junk.

Works fine, able to adjust video quality. Can tell it's just a basic app and with it being free I'm not surprised. Wish there was a way to view more then one camera on my screen at a time. Couldn't download the program on my computer, older computer.

Same here. Works when we open it up at home but not anywhere else. Just quit working one day. Have tried everything!

This app is terrible. If we use this for our baby monitor and I absolutely hate it. If you are not required to use it DON'T.

Crashes before camera feeds will even load. Looks like I will be returning 5 cameras.

I swear if I didn't have to use this with my camera I wouldn't. It is always crashing!

Worked great until android 6.0.1. Doesn't turn on now on my GS5. I'd give 5 stars if it gets fixed.

I can see the camera fine on my laptop but the app rarely works. I removed and i am using p2p ip cam app and it works better.

Was working fine and now it won't connect. My internet is great and it won't connect. Tried deleting camera and adding it back. Works on the computer but not app anymore. Very sad!!! It works at home while on the same wifi but not on different wifi or data. Not sure why. Want fixed.

This app doesn't work at all! I can't even navigate passed the main menu screen. I bought 4 HooToo cameras, and I can't even get the app working to view them! I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S5, so it isn't because I have an ancient phone. Developer needs to update since Amazon is selling everyone these cameras!

I'm having the same issue as Jennifer Gaytan. The app always has worked perfectly until yesterday (1/27/16). My internet is fine, the devices are plugged in. Thought it was an issue on my end until reading Jennifer's comment. Please fix this asap, this app is very useful..peace of mind at work while the pups are home

It worked most of the time, but crapped out this week and can't get it workingagain. Tech support never answers the phone. Please get it fixed!

Was working for for two years, the stopped working this week. States "connection failed". Works fine on my wife's phone and on the pc. Tried uninstalling, rebooting, etc. Nothing seems to work. Strange.

It says my password is wrong. It's WRONG!

What is going on. My camera has also stopped working this week. Hootoo is a horrible company with terrible customer service

It stopped working on my phone i will consider this a lesson learned i will be getting rid of it and buy something that works

My camera doesn't have a number that fits the UID requirements. It would be helpful I'd the app would just scan for cameras around. As is, there is no number for the UID, therefore I can't use it this app.

I have been trying different "bargain" cameras and software lately just seeing what's good. Sometimes you get a good setup sometimes you get a dud. This one is a dud, this software leaves a lot to be desired. In this case spend a little more from another mfg with a better app.

A bit slow at times and audio goes in and out sometimes.. still haven't used it from a long distance over Internet so let's see how that goes and I may change my mind. But so far it's good..

Panning sux - it takes forever, even on the same network. It will move in tiny increments. Over the internet it's worse. It will move a bit, then suddenly a lot, so you overshoot your target view. Audio is so low it's worthless. Settings aren't much good, either. Very vague.

I think that it si cool I just have a problem with my tablet it says indificient space and I am not Liking this. Also I have no games or nothing! ; (

Set up was easy, that's about the only good thing. The controls are awful. The iPhone version is wayyyy better. So hopefully the developers can put controls in instead of swiping to move the camera

Needs some improvement, not sire on the software or the camera end but I'll randomly lose connection. Sometimes can't connect, have issues with sound to and from. It gets the job done but needs some work.
