Flat Calculator for Android
I downloaded this calculator mainly for the Arbitrary Precision capability, but quickly discovered that this only works in the 4-function basic mode, and not in the Scientific Mode, where all of the trig functions, etc. are located. It's a very nice, quite powerful calculator, but unfortunately it's output in Scientific mode is limited to the standard 15 or 16 significant digits. If the author adds "Big Number" arbitrary precision capability to the Scientific mode, I'll re-install and give it another try. Would also appreciate an RPN mode, to make the I/O more user friendly for people who use Hewlett-Packard RPN calculators. The function plotting and graphing feature looks interesting, but I couldn't get it to plot anything but a flat horizontal line, and the "Help" file is just a few basic tips to get you started. I checked the author's website to see if there are Docs for this app, and the website doesn't even show that this app exists.
Good
OK but keyboard hard to read. Small type and silly colors=poor contrast
Good
great app
Hard to to understand what the calculator is capable of. E.g. Bin/Dec conversion?? Right/left shift operations in BIN mode!. Simply complicated!
please add the secondary trigonometric functions secant, cosecant and cotangent. please add it so integration and differentiation will be easier. and please create an offline version.
anyone else have problem with calculating logarithmic function?
great app
