FM Player

Yay, an actual radio player that can actually read radiowave frequencies, instead of being only able to grab source stream from the Internet. Now we just need someone to make an FM radio app like we had in the Mk16a to use with our headphones. I can't for the life of me figure out why no one has made one yet.

This app if youre looking to listen to radio stations in your area is great and exactly what im looking for as well, but theres a but..... if your phone is not supported for actual FM Radio then this app will NOT work. So pretty much if you have a galaxy of some sort or an iphone , youre screwed...sorry..

Which is the first thing it says in the discription. I can't believe how many idiots with Samsung phones gave it 1 star because it didn't work on their device. WORKS AS ADVERTIZED ON RADIO - ENABLED MOTOROLA PHONES , and it's way better than the stock app.

The creator most likely hasn't updated this to work with newer phones that actually have a built in tuner, it probably only works with select devices. Still worth trying, (it's only 770 kB) Best of luck.

Works if u have the fm radio enabled(fm radio services.apk installed in the /system) Works on droid3. AWESOME!!!!!!!! Oh and person with the Samsung comment: ITS FOR MOTOROLA.....it'll work on almost any phone that has an app called 'fmradioservices.apk' installed in the system.....freaks need to learn..

So it is enabled on my phone, despite your error saying it's not. My FM Radio app just stopped working correctly so I was looking for an alternative. Until yesterday I used the stock FM Radio app everyday.

Dear all the idiots who can't read, your device isn't compatible with this application because it doesn't have a FM player in it. Please stop ruining the app's reputation by giving one set reviews just because your device doesn't work.

This is a Motorola phone and it says it's not compatible. In my opinion, I don't think the developers know what the word compatible means.

Yeah, I know my phone is old, but fm technology is even older; I give 2 stars instead of one because it might be Verizon's fault, from what I hear.

I would give it 0 Stars if possible. Everytime it is telling me your phone is not supported for FM Radio.

There was no point in installing it if it is just going tell me that it is not compatible with my device.

It explicitly states that it only works on Motorola phones in the description. Learn to read, please.

Lets me download and install it. Then upon launching says my Samsung Galaxy S5 is not supported. Well done!

Same goes with the other people. But they have it lucky mines stop after like 2 minutes. Just completely blanks out. Theres no other radios in the play store for motorola

Very quiet even on max volume, and loses audio on any system sound, requiring a restart. Impractical for me. Audio quality seems OK.

Said my phone doesn't have FM radio capability. REALLY? Lol. Uninstalled. Fix it if you want good ratings...

The stock moto g app has a nicer interface (subjective) and more features, yet almost all reviews complain about a lack of them.

To all you people complaining it doesn't work for your LG or Samsung phones: are you all retarded or something because you must be to not be able to read that the description of the app States the app is only for Motorola phones with an FM Tuner installed which means the phone's stock ROM came with FM Radio app by Motorola which is on the play store use a computer to look for it. To the developer of this app: your app detects my FM Tuner and attempts to use it but it doesn't give any sound not even static

My phone has a fm chip, but this only works for Motorola . Why? Motorola has a great tuner built in.

The app is not compatible with my Samsung S5 phone. There should be something that says this before letting me install it.

Says that its compatible with android not true..this app sucks big time..had to uninstall. A 1 star isnt even worth it.

This product says that it will only use Motorola devices I wish you guys with expanded to Samsung and other phones as well as making it compatible to turn on your FM chip that's in all phone so we can all use free radio that does not require data you guys need to improve your apt or it turns on your chip in the phone so everyone can use regardless of phone type

Tried to open and it says not supported. But before I installed it, it says that it works with androids and I have Galaxy S5 so if its not compatiable with it, either take that it works with androids off or make it to where it does work..

If your hardware has FM enabled or even if is disabled and you managed to get it rooted an get an AOSP compliance CWM ROM this is the best, smallest, footprint you'll fine FM PLAYER APP. If you want birds and whistles THEN use NEXT RADIO the second best but SPIRIT1 DOES detects FM hardware compatability before install VIA THE PLAYSTORE PAGE; is cALLEd SPIRIT1 RADIO.

"Sorry but your phone does not support fm radio" I KNOW my phone is fm radio supported. Don't tell me it isn't. I use a Sharp Aquos Crystal and the website says it suports fm radio

It's bad. It's not to use. When I want to use it it only says that Your headphone is not support for fm radio. But without this device I can use fm radio by my headphone.

Installed it and could not get it to work for anything. People in the Play Store are not used to that. If u r going create an app, create one that works!

Don't waste your data downloading this app unless you know for sure your phone is capable

Trying to install the app in my LG G2 an it tells that my phone doesn't support FM... what a joke

"for FM-enabled MOTOROLA devices" might mean something... Too bad MotoX does not suport FM radio.
