This has everything you could want in a flashlight app (it has both the option to use the screen and the option to use flash). It works as expected and utilizes the screen brightness effectively when screen mode is turned on and it does not waste battery by leaving things on when put in the background. The developers also seem to be very quick to make fixes. More interestingly, is written in IntelliJ's Kotlin programming language and is completely ad-free.
