Autosync Dropbox - Dropsync for Android
This is what Dropbox -should have- released... AUTOMATIC CUSTOMIZABLE TWO-WAY SYNC. Worth every penny. I really like not worrying about which copy on what machine is my most recent edit... I trust DropSync and really like the setting backup & restore function since I have over 20 folders. Excellent. Love the redesign especially the "Sync Now" button addition and launcher intent for sync-now. Highly Recommended! I even paid for Pro Key.
Setup is in the end easy. If u are struggling look for the option to backup WhatsApp. Then it does the rest for you.
Amazing app, but it should be all in one with OneDrive and Google Drive. Will give it 5 if you release am all inclusive version, and I will buy it too.
Syncs a Dropbox folder for free. Seems fast, reliable. I sync a Dropbox folder structure to my SD card. Plenty of controls for when and how. Ads not intrusive. Most of the time don't need to manage as it's automated. Excellent app.

Great apps. It's useful to store my documents online
Awesome! Easy to setup and works seamlessly! Love this app!
Great app
I've relied on this app for several years. As someone who uses an Android tablet as a laptop, it's been indispensable, and admirably fills in a missing component of the native Dropbox app. Worth investing in the pro key.
If you use Dropbox, you need this. The official Dropbox app won't keep syncing, even with files marked favorite. This is the first app I use on a new phone or after factory reset, to get all the other apps data restored. It's great to have sister apps for Google Drive, etc. that also work like this. One problem: If there's interference over WiFi (neighbors' access points), and there are a large number of files in the Dropbox folders (even if most don't need updates), this app stops in the middle of the sync with "NETWORK ERROR". Then it starts over at the beginning with the next sync cycle, so it may never complete all the way, until you resolve the WiFi issue. Would be nicer if it continued where it stopped when the network connection is restored. (I have to admit that this happens rarely so I'm not sure if it has been fixed recently.)
With this app I'm able to keep all my folders on my phone synchronized with my computer, it is so convenient to access them from my PC. The regular Dropbox app could only do the pictures I took.
Amazingly useful app, now I can have my savegames synched to my pc as well as my phone
Asks for permission to access whole Dropbox instead of its own folder.
Does what it's supposed to!!!
Very good app, 5 stars rating for this one.
Can't wait to upgrade and get full options
Works great so far and quite intuitive
Great app. Very specific.
Great
Great
I want to correct my earlier review. After the recent update to v 3.3 it is working fantastic. My previous review: The dropsync which is changed as Autosync is not working with Android 5.1 anymore. When I am trying to sync one of my local folder with dropbox, it says Autosync power/ network conditions are not met. See app's settings. I have given all permissions for my SD card. I also gave this the Developers access also. But still it is not working.
Hardly useful for what it is, pro version is heavily overpriced and currently researching the apps code to create my own app that can outperform this and be free. Wouldn't recommend this scam of an app to anyone.
Only interested if you upgrade. Initial version worthless! Don,t think it is worth taking space on drive!
3 stars for the not optimized upload speed. It is unacceptable to upload with 1.2kb or less when you upload over 4g network, when your upload speed equals 4-5 MBps.
exactly what I was looking for! now I can sync my private git repo between my phone, Dropbox and my laptop. thanks guys. will be upgrading to pro to support development.
Maximum (sync) file size of 10Mb is terrible - can't test it unless paying for it! Uninstalled because it has zero use for free users.
Been using it for a year or so and it has worked flawlessly. Just set it up and forget about it. The best kind of automated tool
Total garbage paid for pro key yet always have to manually sync
Does a good job with Viber and Whatsapp photos and short videos which helps free up space on the phone.
NOT YET FULLY SATISFIED
Works well. A must for Dropbox users
What Dropbox should be!
Sometime it not auto
Literally improved my life.
No longer works with my S8+..... Does now.
Does what it says.
Works perfectly
It helps me keep my projects synchronized, now that AIDE no longer supports Dropbox. (I would use GitHub, if I could figure it out, but until then DropSync is my workaround.)
I'll never understand why Dropbox doesn't include 2 way synch. I take 10 pics of my kid to get one good one. I don't need all 10. But with DBox you have to go delete the 9 you don't want. Problem solved with this perfect app. Unobtrusive ads in the free version, very little battery usage. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Seeing how Boxsync was finally fixed and working properly now, I decided to give Dropsync another try. Fresh clean install on new phone, to make sure there's no old unknown baggage bogging it down. Result? It's really non-functional. From the very first sync, thru several repeats, it always end up with "com.dropbox.core.RateLimitException". Each manual sync takes several minutes of endless processing, and not one single file synced!
