Hoover App

What a piece of garbage. The app can't connect and the quest 800 just hits a wall and tries driving through it until the battery dies.

Does not connect with Android phone for vacuum. On Apple phone it connects fine.

App never connect to the robot

App is not working. Keeps telling me "robot has unexpectedly disconnected. Please move closer to the robot otlr try to reconnect. I have even placed the phone on top of the robot (cant really be any closer) but the app never connects to the robot

The app is ok. I like the interface but it reads the battery wrong. One second its at 90% then when it starts it instantly drops down to 20%

The app doesn't let me select my vacuum and keeps getting stuck in a loop. It's stupid.

I can not even get passed the screen to set it up! Someone needs to fix this since this seems to be a connection problem overall! Horrible

Used to work just fine, but now it just scans forever and won't connect. Utterly useless at this point. Seems many others have the same problem... please do something about it

Sadly, I am forced to agree with many others ... app is crap. Tried every "fix" commented on ... app will not connect. C'mon Hoover, when 12 year olds can create working apps, yours is a complete failure ... how about a usable update!!

It scans forever and doesn't do anything. I've read this same comment over and over. Is anyone reading these? I haven't seen any replies trying to help people out. Where's the customer service?

Far Superior to the junk IR remote. Bluetooth reaches where IR can't, and response is quicker. Turn on vac, start app, voila! Factory remote is in junk drawer! Too bad too many people can't learn to use an app AND a robovac lol!

I figured it out need to choose 800 instead of 700. This is stupid. This app could be mach better. I should not be forced to choose every time.

Just wish I did not have to select the bot I have everytime I open it it should remember Cuz of that its much easier just to grab the included remote

I can see it from my bluetooth settings but when i open the application and select my vacuum it has not found the robot once. I'm going to try deleting and reinstall the app.

I have a 700 and when I choose it the app just says "Hoover88" and a loading icon spins endlessly. I like the vacuum for the price, but scheduling seems very limited without this app. I'm on a G5 of it helps. Some documentation on the app would be nice too.

Mine just keeps saying HooverCE rejected pairing...Wtf am I supposed to do now? So I figured out why it wouldn't connect...You need to make sure GPS is on for some stupid reason. I hope this helps guys.

Must foreclose everything it doesn't respond. Must select robot eachtime.

Could not link the vacuum to Bluetooth and got stuck almost on everything in the house I returned it did not like it

Select 700 series and just keeps spinning. Won't connect to Bluetooth.

Will not connect even have trouble with hand held remote. Received as Xmas gift, will try to return it.

When selecting the model, it only allows me to select the 800 model. Even when selecting for the 700 model, it only searches for the 800 model. Please fix the app.

I purchased the 700 based on the name, but Hoover is a step behind in the robot vacuum space, app is 2 steps behind. Upside is the unit's low profile that enables it to get under my couch. That's about it for upsides. Dirt collector too small, gets stuck on a flat wall and keeps trying to progress forward, brushes already worn after 1 week. The app, where do I start, it just sucks. Sorry Hoover. Invest money in your tech or continue to fall behind.

This app keeps saying reconnect then won't connect to my vacuum again. This app needs to be fixed or a new one that will work be made.

Absolutely useless app. I can't code and I'd still be ashamed of myself if I put this out for use.

Only allows a few commands, then "encounters an unexpected problem" and force closes. Bluetooth connection lasts only briefly before a "robot disconnected" alert. Installed on a Galaxy S5 and S7 with the same results. The bot doesn't work on hard surface floors with quarter-round trim on the base boards. The bottom gets hung up before the bumper can be pushed in, and it doesn't have the AI to know it's no longer progressing forward. Exchanged for another thinking maybe a defect, nope - just a BAD DESIGN!

Connected once. Schedule didn't worked. And buy the way robot cleans big room or small until battery runs out. Will try out different brand vacuum robot.

Could not locate my upright. I was standing beside it. Waste of time and memory space to download. Don't bother. Upright seems to work well, though.

Just got a quest 800 and love how easy this app is to setup and use. Thanks for making my life easier Hoover!
