Photo Mate R3

Goto RAW photo processing. Absolutely critical for photography professionals. I would hazard to say that R3 is miles better than Lightroom by virtue of price alone never mind the expansive feature set included with R3. Now with 64 bit support, I'm all in.

Purchased the app yesterday, but it still asks for update code. Trying to open ARW files from my NEX-6 and it doesn't work. Useless for me. I want the refund.

Stopped working, opens then immediately closes again. Cleared cash/data, rebooted, reinstalled, still the same. Refund please. Contacted support as requested, they responded once, asked for info, I've sent this info twice, nothing. Had enough now, I bought this to use on my tablet, for quick on the go raw editing. Not fit for purpose.

Its sucks just as paid as R2.i wasted money then and its a waste now.you can get adobe Lightroom for free and other better apos free

Use to work just fine now it crashes every time I open a folder to process raw raf files, fuji Xt1 please would like to have refund it is worthless to me now!

Works beautifully on my Sony Z3 Compact phone, but continually crashes on Samsung Tab Pro 8.4 tablet. Lots of poor reviews from people using these tablets and a deal breaker for me.

Work well on my 10" Android. Very nice set of tools that work well.Can now edit photos on site without using laptop.

good app, that fills a need in the mobile space. One comment - we shouldn't have to update first to find out what changed. Please include the update notes here like every other app, or instead add a link to a web page with the upate.

Tried opening nef files on the Huawei honor tab but it just doesn't show up. I do see the editing window open but no luck with the pics

I Can't Export After Latest Update

This app works fine with nef nikon raw files, but it won't save the imported files as jpegs unless you pay for the full version which is nearly £10 in total. I don't like photo editing part of the app and would prefer to use Snapseed, but you have buy it if you want to export. I think it's priced way too high.

Photo mateR3 just stopped reading my raw files saying they were corrupt .yet my laptop reads them all ok with ligntroom

careful when purchasing they might forgot the older version and you wont be able to used it, i purchased r2 then i cant use it anymore since i upgrade phone.

This product (R3) and its predecessor (R2) raised the bar on the photo editing capabilities available on phablets. From photo stacking to histogram optimization to raw image decoding, this App has almost every photo tool you need.

Extra star earned on basis of price alone. The interface is pretty clunky and it's not all that fast, but it'll do what you need.

Probably the most impressive photo editor when it comes to features. UI is a little unpolished which isnt a big deal but it would be nice to see updates in the future. Also it crashes and lags consistently on Note 5.

The best I have found for RAW / NEF files. Memory hungry.

Be careful paying any money. Paid a high price for R2 for it to be abandoned with no upgrade path. Soon a minor update called R4 will come along and you'll be screwed too.

I had photo mate r2 and I used to like it but now it won't work on my s7 and I paid for the app the most expensive app I have purchased.... It is useless now I have to repurchase it

I love using this application, but the ui sometimes drives me nuts in hiding basic functions away.

I have bought a version R2, when i uninstall that version, and i try to install again in playstore, has change version of the R3.So now i can't not to use a version of R2 again, because i must buy again for R3 it.....why.....why ?

Really awesome editor. Not many RAW editors around, but this ones been around for ages and does the job really well. Pictures come out looking right like you want them. One thing I found to be lacking polish was the interface, perhaps something more in line with the material design?

This app used to be great but for whatever reason when i now try and convert my LG G4 raw files the sky turns purple and everything that is blue turn purple as well. Can you look into it please. I can't correct it either

A great RAW editor that could benefit from a better designed UI.

Just this app alone is enough to give you a reason to buy an Android tablet instead of an iPad. Extra bonus, today I discovered ta it can edit Fujifilm raw as well. I use do think it only did Canon raw.

Every time, I try to load a nef file, the app crashes. Have never used the app since purchase. My money has gone waste.

At the begining I had lot's of personal & professional problems.. The developer helped me over and over and didn't gave up on me - now everything works AMAZINGLY WELL, and I'm highly recomended !!! :) thank you PHOTOMATE! There isn't someone better than you!!! :)

R2 is a good app, if someone don't want to pay for R3 should have the rights to keep R2. Taken out R2 from shelf is not a wise move. If the new function is good, I will pay for it, no wonder how expensive it is. If I don't need those new function, even $1 is too much. And try not to use dirty method (policy) to push customers to a new version.

The app itself looks great but all my DNGs are located on my SD Card and the app crashes when trying to grant permissions to it. Sure I could transfer them to my internal storage but whats the point of spending money on a app that has bugs?
