About Calculall (Calculator)
As technology is ever advancing, we believe that many of the tools that we use in our everyday lives could be improved if powered by a smartphone.
With this is mind, we set out to improve the graphing calculator.
The result is Calculall, an Android application that combines the features of a graphing calculator and more, onto a phone.
This beautiful and functional tool will help you do any simple and complex math in the blink of an eye.
It’s a calculator that does it all.
Calculall provides a vast arsenal of mathematical capabilities, far beyond virtually any calculator would have, while providing an intuitive, simple, and beautiful user interface. There are five modes in Calculall:
Basic
- Basic mathematical operations
Advanced
- Standard functions found on most scientific calculators (such as trigonometric functions)
- Displaying fractions and superscripts naturally
- Ability to calculate in exact values (fractions) or in decimals
Function
- Root finding for polynomials
- Factoring
- Expanding
- Differentiation
- Indefinite Integration
- Graphing
Vector
- Vector addition and subtraction
- Dot and Cross product
- Angles between vectors
- Unit vectors
- Magnitudes of vectors
- Scalar forms of 2D and 3D vectors
Matrix
- Basic matrix operations
- Row Reduction
- Inverses
- Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors
- Diagonalization, QR, and SVD Decomposition

EDIT: I knocked off a star because I noticed that even simple calculations are very slow to calculate if done in the advanced menu (about a second of lag). Ideally I'd like calculations done in real time when inputting. Also, no landscape mode. I spent ages looking for a calculator that had the functionality I wanted (e.g. textbook display for input and output) while being easy to use and I found this just as I was about to give up! Some very small things I'd like to see that almost stopped me giving the fifth star before they're implemented, in rough order of importance: The ability to select where I enter characters by tapping at the right point on the expression, not just using the left and right arrows ( maybe add up/down arrows?), calculations not always disappearing when you change mode; mixed fraction output in addition to top-heavy fraction and decimal; maybe multiple variable support in Function; blinking cursor; the Android back button working to get you back out of calculation history, settings and themes; more indication that 2nd and hyp are on; multiplication sign more "lower case" and X variable button being more "upper case".
