TrueCar Sell

Very buggy. Initial attempt to open app results in black screen with nothing else that loads- forced to close the app and reopen for it to fully load, every single time. Tried submitting "Get Dealer Offer" option, but does not give me any confirmation that it went through and still shows the "Get Dealer Offer" button after trying to submit. Makes me think it isn't working and I can't get it to submit successfully. Finally, initial photo I took under the "Personalize it" section was not well lit so I tried to retake. It shows as the new photo in the "Personalize it" screen, but in the summary at the start screen it still shows the old photo. Can't tell if old or new photo is what dealers will see.

This app has absolutely nothing to with selling your car, the only purpose of this app is to get information from your device and sell it to advertisers.

Even though the app itself is kind of cool, the dealer who responded was just what you would expect from a used car dealer -- when I came in for the inspection, he offered less than half of what he had said he would offer via the app. The app makes it easy to identify your car's defects. I thought this was nice because I thought it would help get an accurate offer. That part of the app allowed me to be honest about my car's flaws (paint chips and dings). Still, once I arrived, the dealer cut his offer in half even though there were no additional defects found in the inspection. Don't waste your time with this app because it can't stop the dealer who offers the "winning" bid from offering a bogus teaser and then wasting your time.

Long process to follow and then nothing. No way to get any status updates. I got no response from submissions 2 weeks apart.

I sold my car through this, got me the best offer. Even though Dealer deducted some value but still better

Wasted time just to find out that it did not upload anything. Called customer services and they asked me to delete everything and download the app again and go through the ENTIRE exercise again!! Sorry...not doing it. I would just go find another dealer.

It's a shame all this isn't on one app instead of multiple apps. That what I thought "true car"was not app for this app for that

More than the app. I had a great experience..they were totally honest, ethical and high integrity. To mention few people are Kyler, Andrea and Jennifer. Please ensure the management knows it.

Keeps on crashing. Wasted my time asking for each and every details and photos ..while submitting .. it keeps on crashing. .didn't even let me submit

App never sends car over

The app is ok. Not what I expected.

Not able to down load from 2 phones no results. Used the by app would be very good if you start about 3 weeks early to learn how to use it. It would be of grate value otherwise your not going to get the true value at all. People are good to work with if you understand. TRIED TO USE TRUE CAR SELL NO LUCK AT ALL. If they get it to work it may be of grate value Good Luck to all

5 minutes after you log in the dealers start hounding you. I just wanted to check the app out for a car I was looking at. I got 5 to six calls a day and 20 emails a day.

You will just install, take all pictures. But they do not have any connection to a dealer and the car won't be posted to their website. Absolutely useless activity

First off you're forced to take a picture of your vehicle FIRST. Hard to do from my living room at night. Then after putting in a zip code I'm told there are no dealers near me. Pointless.

Crap doesn't work, I've used it over 2 weeks ago and never heard from anyone. I have a nice Camaro SS so I know that's not the problem.

I had a horrible experience using this app. Save your self and uninstall immediately. The shady dealers that are linked up to this app are crazy. They will rip you off.
