This app will hide your root access! RESTART ANY APPLICATIONS WHICH WERE OPEN PRIOR TO HIDING ROOT, AS THEY COULD STILL SEE IT.
1) BEFORE opening any other app, open this one and press the "HideYourRoot" button. While root is hidden, applications may not see or request root.
2)Use any app -- they should not see root unless they were opened before hiding root
3)When finished, you may press the "UnHideYourRoot" button to reveal root and allow apps to access it.
YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE ROOT ACCESS!
NOTICE-

Could use an update for landscape on tablets, but works exactly as advertised. An app that would not run and crashed due to 'rooted device detected' (Ziggo Tv) now runs perfect! :-)

looks like some app developers have gotten round the method used by this app to hide root so it no longer works. no update for 6 months either so possibly dropped by the developer.

Using sky go on my rooted HTC Desire s worked perfect with this app didn't think it would work, I think allot of don't know what your doing, remember don't have sky running in background before hiding root, not sure about custom roms though

Bought this as I wanted to watch Sky Go on my rooted phone. Force closed Sky Go then ran this program - Hid root. Opened Sky Go and was able to view live television! Thanks for a great, but simple app.
